18Worst movie theater ever. Went and seen Strays on a hot day and it was so nice to have no air conditioning in the theater and for years if you go there there's always big puddles of soda across the floors in front of the drink machine that the employees will never mop up
The one by the mall is just much better and my kids wanted to watch the movie (the red door) and they couldn’t without an adult and she said if they would have came at 3: 45 they could have watched it but I worked and most people have to work at that time.
Several employees standing around chatting. The soda machine was empty for most choices. There was a huge puddle on the floor that no one attempted to clean. The popcorn was stale. I am currently unable to walk without assistance and the parking was terrible. The entrance was very poorly marked. The parking lot is set up oddly, in relation to the entrance. We had to walk halfway around the building to find the door. Overall, we were extremely disappointed in the theater.
Excellent theater. Always a large selection of movies. Clean and spacious. I like that the staff is hands-off and just lets you do your thing. I wish the concession stand prices were cheaper, but it’s a huge chain so it’s not like this specific theater sets the pricing. All in all a downtown gem and if it ever closed, film lovers in Williamsport would have nowhere to see a movie, which would be awful. Support your local movie theater!
I have been here probably 5 times this last month and keeps getting better! I have a special needs child who is treated with respect by all. Brayden, Janelle, Mike, Mary and Sera are all wonderful. You guys go above and beyond for us like no other! Takes you back to 90s with the vibe of this theatre as well. Clean theatre, reasonable prices by comparison! Please don’t close down!
Went to the theaters with my son Tuesday 22nd. The movie experience was fine and it was a clean place. I did have an issue with the bathroom in the ladies room being out of stock of toilet paper & paper towels. The adult woman who I'm assuming is the manager seemed busy sitting down on her phone than to handle staff & came off rather rude & not very knowledgeable when I when I asked her a question regarding an issue with the movie shaking. The popcorn was fresh and the movie was great. Will definitely be back as we are new to the area & have come to realize there isn't much to do in this town lol. Also really great prices! Building could use a good update, but for such low prices, can't complain much. You get what you pay for.
Super friendly staff. Wish they'd get more options for got foods, but still a great place. Curfew rule is nice as it means less annoying children to ruin the movie for me
AMC Theatres truly delivers an unparalleled cinematic experience. Impeccable facilities, top-notch audio-visual technology, and a diverse film selection ensure every visit is exceptional. The comfort of the seating, along with a variety of delectable concessions, adds an extra layer of enjoyment. With their commitment to safety and a rewarding loyalty program, AMC consistently proves itself as the go-to destination for movie lovers. Whether it's the latest blockbuster or an indie gem, AMC Theatres transforms every film into a memorable event, making each visit a delight for all senses.
It's a shame, the theater is going down hill, arcade machines are all out of order, the bathrooms were falling apart, soap dispenser falling off the wall, spickets wasn't working, no paper towels.
AMC app doesn't work at all, no customer service at all and more expensive than anything else.
It was awful! Beyond just being dirty in general, the movie theater did not have the air conditioner working (was watching Indiana Jones) and when we complained to the staff - their reply was we will open the door for ventilation. In the heat of summer with a full room, that does not help! Next time will go to State College to see a movie!
Once a truly great place, but ever since AMC has taken it over it has taken a steep decline. It is sadly in disarray and clearly lacks and overnight janitorial crew - but support your local theaters regardless.
I've been going to the AMC in Williamsport for a couple of years now. There was one time when I didn't have a good experience because the screen was blurry, but that was over a year ago, and they fixed it.
Absolutely loved it! First time visiting, but will go back more. Such a nice clean theatre and very comfortable seating. Large popcorn is putting it very mildly. It was HUGE! GREAT PLACE!
Nice Clean facility. The Rep at the Concession counter was very friendly.wish I could remember her name to give her a shout out!
Nice theater. Prices are good. Staff is good. Place is clean and seating is very comfortable. Will go see movies there when I am in the area
Have a ticket for Creed at 12noon that I puchaesed a week ago. Standing outside locked theatre with no sign of business and received no update that movie time was cancelled for 12noon show. No phone number listed for business either. How do I get a refund?
If people go for the times that are specified that under 18 year olds need supervised by an adult, make sure an adult is present. A massive group of children had to be kicked out in the middle of Scream VI due to talking and being on phones.
If you say that under 18 year olds need supervision, make sure there is an adequate number of adults with the group of kids.
Other customers should not have to suffer because the theater does not make sure that children under 18 have the appropriate supervision. One adult, which could be an 18 year old friend of the other kids, is not enough supervision for a group of 8-10 children
