AMC Marple 10 reviews
17First time at the movies since covid-19 we had the theater to ourselves it was nice the kids enjoyed it Clifford was a really cute Movie!
Gross seats & cup holders. The entire theatre lights (that come on usually at the end of the credits) was on during half of the previews so it was hard to see. Screaming babies & children running around touching seats. The seats don’t even go all the way down which is a joke. Go elsewhere, trust me.
I loved when they refurbished the theatre. Overpriced food and drink unfortunately like every theatre, chairs have rips on them, popcorn in all the nooks and crannies. Very poorly managed, unruly movie-goers, always some teenager or college student thinking they are funny shouting, or talking, or on their phone, won't stay quiet.
I like AMC and would give them 5 stars, but they took away early shows. I was a A-List member from the time AMC started it until about a month ago. I cancelled my account because they got rid of their earlier showtimes. I used to drop my wife off at work and my granddaughter at school in the morning and then I would hit the early 11 AM showings. Now the earliest movie is 4 or 5 PM. They took away my Pop-Pop Time! So it made no sense paying $24 for a service I can barely use. We still go as a family but not as often since Covid hit. Besides, with homework and housework, it’s not easy to go during the week. When they get the earlier shows back, I’ll sign back up again.
Overall good experience. They missed 5 stars by simply not turning the movie a bit louder. It was very hard to hear the movie. We asked for it to be a little louder. They agreed to but never followed thru. The theater was clean and everything was great. The movie was too hard to hear.
The lines to get food take forever. The seats are all on one floor so the viewing angles are all the same and not the best experience you can have in a movie theater.
It was a happy space for me to enjoy my movie going experience, but it's slowly descending into a place that's often messy (e.g, self-serve beverage area and men's bathroom.yuk!).
I've been one of their "A-List" card members for years. The concessions express line for A-List members isn't even honored/recognized by the cashiers anymore. Ugh!
The quality of this place has exponentially dropped from its once lustrous heyday.
I still patronage this location simply because it's conveniently close to my home, but actively seeking a better movie theater alternative.
We say down in our seats and I then decided to go get some popcorn. I waited in a short line, then ordered my popcorn, and asked to layer it, where you get half put in the container, get butter then go back and get more popcorn and put butter on the top. My children and grandson started eating the popcorn, and I thought it was fine until I tasted it. It was waaayy too salty! I closed it up and went to the counter to complain after the movie was over. After a very long time, the manager came over and I explained what happened. After looking at me blankly for a minute, he told me he could give me a refund, which I accepted. I could not have been the only person who experienced that issue. Maybe there should be some adults supervising the kids that are making the food.
I saw the Venom let there be Carnage! That movie was pretty wicked and perfect before Halloween. Also it kept my dad awake through the whole movie.
Nice experience, but had to pay 30 bucks for everything, don't ever wanna do that, again. I also enjoyed the movie CopShop.
Food wasn't good, taste freezer burnt. Imma just stick to a regular movie theater and afterwards go to a restaurant to eat. Other then that I was happy to be at a movie theater with not a lot of people and there was no yelling, talking, and children or grown people screaming through the movie.
Reasonably clean, friendly, and so much easier to deal with the app for everything from tickets to food! Oh, check your food for temperature and or over cooked…. Otherwise, it’s 5 stars with the A-List.
Very disappointed in AMC tonight. I signed up for Stubs rewards program at ticket window and was told when Ii went to snack bar to give my phone number and points would register, but they did not, there was also no stubs card given to me. I was told they didnt have any. A few months ago I purchased a Wonder Woman reusable bucket that was over$20 and supposed to give you $5 refills on popcorn, that also was not honored. Teens were taking selfies during the movie and talking. And the movie in the next theater could be heard thru the walls. I spent over $75 tonight, very disappointed. Staff offered no assistance with any of these issues, they are mostly teens and early 20's.
Pretty nice theatre! I liked their selection of food besides the usual popcorn and candy, I got curly fries which was a movie first for me and it was a nice change to have such an option! Staff were friendly and the seats were nice, they recline so always nice to have.
Just came to watch a movie.thinking that after covid and just basic cleanliness that my seat and area surrounding would be ya know clean? Well nope. DIRTY.i’m actually disgusted, there is popcorn all over my seat and dirty used napkins in the cup holder which i did throw out… not to mention there is a sticky fluid residue on my arm rest as well. (photo was taken after i threw it all on the floor). Prior to covid these seats were very clean and i would’ve never complained! Very sad given they pride themselves on being clean in the advertisements before the film.
The staff was very nice and Friendly and the bathrooms were nice and clean the theater was also nice and clean. The prices are a bit high and they should add more food items to the menu.but other than that me and my children we'll be returning soon to see more movies plus they love the reclining seats and cupholders. ️
I must say that it's been quite a while since I last went to the movie theaters, so it was nice to watch Space Jam on the big screen with my nephew. The theater was not crowded, and we kept our masks on the entire time.
