Great experience all around! Very positive experience getting a great pair of glasses with what are normally challenging vision issues! My visit included a team of assistant manager, receptionist, technician, optician and optometrist.

It's 3 weeks since I ordered my glasses. My son ordered his the same day as I did. And he's came back in about a week. I have yet to get mine. I'm just about to go back for a FULL REFUND. I had to give them 1 star. They are worth 0 stars.

I’ve been bringing my son here for about 4 years and this time was the absolute best experience so far. Jenn took extra good care of us explaining why certain frames wouldn’t work for my son and what we needed to look for and why. My son was a bit wiggly when she was doing measurements and she handled it so gracefully and didn’t make us feel bad about it. I told receptionist I didn’t think they took my insurance because in the past I always paid out of pocket but mentioned it switched to Health Partners and Jenn overhead that and made sure to check and sure enough we were covered! I am struggling financially and was ready to just say no insurance and use half my money to my name on this visit but Jenn didn’t let that happen. I am so thankful and grateful for her customer service. We will be asking for her specifically and look forward to future visits. Thank you SO MUCH Jenn

Worst Experience ever had! This is regarding America's Best store experience at 351 Loucks Rd Ste B3, York, PA 17404. We had visited store at 4.30 pm on 12th August 2023. We faced racism and humiliating experience in the store by 2 ladies (one is receptionist and another one sitting opposite to receptionist). We asked about that unacceptable behaviour and receptionist behaved arrogant and not even offered their apology for their indecent and shameless behaviour.

Dont visit this store!

Call to schedule and had the lady run my insurance and was told the eye exam and one pair of glasses is covered. The appointment was one and half months later, they do the exam then tell me NONE of the glasses are covered. I will never come back to americas best because I don't appreciate being lied to.

I had a great experience choosing 2 new frames. Holly was very helpful and was very knowledgeable, quick, and efficient. I always come here when I need new glasses. Great prices too!

What a joke, Lies to u about insurance coverage coast till ur done with an eye exam and then tells u the truth that ur insurance only covers only fraction for eye glass now I gotta take my prescription of my eye exam and wait 2 months out for a place that covers eye exam and glasses. I'll be going to my eye doctor eye doctor that treats me right

I waited an entire month for an appointment, generally I really like americas best. However I got a confirmation text the morning.of my appointment, 2 hours before. I walk in two hours later to be told the doctor is not present and ill have to wait another month for the next available appointment. I know people have emergencies, but two months for new glasses and contacts? Thats ridiculous

I went in to pick up my glasses that I ordered and the lady that helped me, Jenn Mansberger, was very rude. I sat down to put my glasses on to make sure they fit right and all she did was criticize them. The one thing she said was “If I was helping you I wouldn’t pick out those frames for you. ” She kept pushing me towards picking out new glasses and did not have any positive comments. It was all negative.

The worst experience.
They reassigned my son's appointment almost two months later to cancel it himself due to a lack of an interpreter and they didn't even inform me that I had to bring one.
In addition, the lady who served us was very rude.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Scheduled my appointment almost six weeks ahead. Three days before my appointment they canceled it. When I called to see why it was canceled I was told that time frame was already scheduled and there must have been a "glitch" with the online scheduler. The person I spoke to said the other appointment was scheduled three weeks ago. Then when I told her I had the confirmation email from six weeks ago the story changed. Either way I should have been notified earlier about the issue. Such a joke of a place. I rescheduled with another place within the same week.

It had been way to long between eye exams and wasn't sure what to expect. The eye Dr listened to my needs and concerns. The optican Emma was very detailed and knew what frames and lenses options would suit me best. Highly recommend going to this location as all he employees were awesome.
