After 2 years, still not one reply from corporate or followup. I've since learned i was right about their fast food approach to exams. These doctors get paid very well but only based on the number of patients, the more you see, the more they make. The worst kind of place to put people's vision at risk.

ONE WORD. RUN! Seriously do NOT go here. I write very few bad reviews and this is one of them, the WORST experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. I am NOT a Karen that just wants to complain this was honestly a horrible experience i don't want anyone to have.
I will Outline the important stuff, that's all that matters anyway.

- "Doctor" HATES her job, unprofessional, RUDE, no bedside manner but most importantly HORRIBLE DOCTOR WITH BAD PRACTICES
- 2 Exams (was there with someone) were less then 5 min. Had to return because of vision issues (surprise)   as a result of improper exam. Second time, STILL 5 min exam, problems AGAIN.   You can't do a 5 min exam and expect to get the proper results
- Actually became PHYSICALLY ILL because of the wrong prescription, I have never in my life had this happen, I was stuck in a parking lot for 2 hours because of compromised vision, had the most excruciating migraine I've ever had and was literally physically ill as a result
- FAST FOOD approach to vision. Doctor actually told me "I am busy, i have other patients to see" because she failed to provide proper instruction and talked to me like I was an idiot
- Had to return 3 TIMES for 3 incorrect prescriptions  OVER A MONTH AND A HALF WAIT
- Finally ended up PAYING TO SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR ELSEWHERE who finally gave me a proper, thorough exam
- WITH insurance it was MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE versus Walmart. Previously I purchased 6 pairs with 2 exams at Walmart for around $400. Here WITH insurance, 2 exams, 3 pairs of glasses it was $650!
- Waited 3-5 WEEKS for each pair of trials that were WRONG, 3 weeks for glasses also WRONG SCRIPT which i KNEW because nobody has the same prescription for contacts as glasses
- Wrote prescription based off THEIR IN HOUSE products NOT what actually would be best product for patient
- Supporting staff are very kind and helpful, I feel terrible that they are getting grouped in with a terrible doctor, they were kind, very helpful and provided outstanding service

After over a month and a half of failed prescriptions and terrible service at the hands of this doctor, I finally paid to have another exam at Walmart. I received AMAZING CARE there, an hour and a half exam to ensure my prescription was correct. Costs were MUCH LESS what they were here for outstanding service with a truly exceptional doctor that not only actually cared about his job but was thorough and provided the proper prescription. I wanted to go to a "more professional" place then Walmart, I thought they would be cheaper because of their "deals" on 2 pairs (which consist of 1 crappy rack you have to pick from) but I now appreciate the incredible service I received at Walmart with a doctor who actually cares.
After all the issues, waiting and terrible service, I received no follow up call from manager, corporate or anyone to attempt to acknowledge the issues. Had corporate cared enough about their customers it would help, I actually CALLED corporate in the middle of all this so they were absolutely aware of the situation.
Please save yourself money, time and issues and go SOMEWHERE ELSE, anywhere has to be better then here.

Had an appointment set up for this morning. I called up to get pricing of exam and I was told they were too busy to answer my questions and would have to call me back. I informed the extremely rude female on the other end of phone that my appointment was in 45 min. She said they wouldn’t be able to call me back by then to tell me how much my exam would cost. I said then I would have to cancel appointment and wait for them to call me back. She literally hung up phones soon as I said cancel appointment and said fine. I called back to call her out on her rudeness and explain that I still needed a call back. She said she would call back. While waiting for her rudeness to call back I called the north Wales store where they were more then happy to answer my pricing questions and I scheduled an appointment there even though I live in quakertown. If this place continues to chase away customers with rude customer service reps. They won’t be that busy for very long. So rude I am besides myself. I will never go back there again.

I liked my frames from America’s Best, but I hate the prescription. I have trouble seeing anything up close or middle vision with them. Actually, not just trouble, I can’t see anything at those distances AT ALL! Before the doctor EVEN EXAMINED my eyes he told me I needed progressives. How does he know that unless he examines my eyes? I realize a lot of people over 40 need them, but NOT EVERYONE. Don’t assume that just because I’m that age that I’m the norm. Everyone is different. You’d think a doctor would know that. And I’ll tell you why the doctor said this; bottom line: they want to make as much money off of you as they can, and progressives are a lot more expensive. The truth is, I don’t need them. I can see fine up close, or middle vision. I only need glasses for distance, like when I watch a movie, or drive. When I went to pick them up, I told them I could not see anything from my phone right, or even them standing behind the counter. They said it would take time to adjust. Guess what? It’s been over a year and I NEVER adjusted. I have to take my glasses off to see anything that is not at a distance. This is incredibly annoying. When you’re standing somewhere like a check out line, and can’t hold your glasses with both hands to take them off like you should, it ends up weakening the hinges over time. This is extremely inconvenient, to have to take your glasses off and on, just so you can see. Now one of the hinges broke after doing this for a long period of time. If the doctor had gotten my prescription right to begin with, this wouldn’t have happened. Word of advice, America’s Best in Quakertown: examine someone’s eyes FIRST until you decide what their prescription should be. And don’t prescribe them glasses they don’t need and can’t see out of, just for the sake of making more money off of them!

Worst eyeglass purchase ever. Went last year for contacts. They have a copy of my eyeglass prescription and my contact lenses. This year I go to get glasses because lens falls out of my old pair. Spent $475 on glasses and contacts. New glasses are not correct prescription. Even though they have it written in their records they tell me it's my fault for not getting it correct. They want another $194 to put the right lenses in. Yeah, right. I've got another year left on my plan and will never go back to this rip off place again. Stay away- far far away!

So after my review, they contacted me and finally offered to fix 1 pair. No idea why they would think this is satisfactory. I paid for 2 and will only have 1 usable pair, but 1 is better than none. Still waiting for them to be returned. Without the correct lenses, I can't drive a vehicle so not sure why this is acceptable to them.

This place has it together great customer service, was sat in the waiting room 10 minutes tops and then right into my appointment.
Everything was explained to me of what was going to happen, the doctor was great. Thank you for such a great experience

I'm so over this place. The discount for their plans are not, NOT worth the terrible service. Everytime I try to get my contacts filled, there is some issue. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AMERICA BEST.just pay the extra money to go to a good place and optometrist. This will be my last time ordering and going to America's Best. Terrible, just terrible

I have been going to this particular America's Best since soon after 2020. I have always had wonderful service and the doctors are great. They are very understanding and listen to you as a person and not just brush you off.

Long wait to return glasses and rude manager. No one helped when picking out glasses so we got them in and they’re way too small but if someone would've helped more then this could’ve been avoided. We won’t be returning, just go to Walmart next door honestly

I don't like to waste my time blaming anyone but I am obliged to give you my reviews on this store for others who are interested in purchasing glasses from them.

1.optometrist: good.had no issue with him/her
2.staff: not good.they blamed me on making scratches on the lenses. I have been wearing glasses for the last 35 years and theirs were the worst
3.lead time the glasses delivery: fair
4.warranty: good.they sent another pair after the following issue, but the same scratches again happened
5.quality of the glasses: awful.the most scratch-prone lenses I have every had
6.insurance: I had to pay about $350 for my bi-focal lenses with a rim.after insurance their discount was about $30-60.later I found that I massively overpaid but that was my bad that I didn't research enough to find a shop that accepts my insurance with max.benefit

Seriously I won't purchase any glasses from them again, including all the other stores in the same franchise.
