It’s was my first time at the Studio and I had a great experience! Good vibes, amazing hot yoga class lead by the teacher with the heart and good motivation. Really love the space, super clean. I Recommend 100%

I love this studio! I've moved in and out of Philly and tried different studios, but always come back to Amrita! I love the variety of classes and the teachers are always so knowledgeable!

I absolutely love Amrita! My only qualm is that I didn't find it sooner!

The teachers are all lovely and fun, the classes are challenging, but work well for both beginners and more advanced practicers. They really get to know you here, it feels very welcoming and inclusive. Lots of good energy and the space itself is very beautiful. I thought it was a spa when I walked in!

Notes for beginners:

Don't be afraid to ask! - They respond very quickly via text or email.
Shoes off downstairs, everything else can go upstairs (yes there are cubbies).
If you want to wear socks, make sure they are super grippy.
If you have a membership, the only classes you absolutely need to bring your own mat are the hot classes.
If you don't have a membership, then you need mats for hot and normal temperature yoga classes, but not barre, pilates, or aerial yoga.
Every class has options for different ability levels and different energy levels. Some days you feel like pushing yourself, other days you're just trying to get yourself moving. Meet yourself where you are.
Always keep your shoulders down and back and always engage your core. Both help avoid injuries and make you stronger.
Make sure to bring a bottle with you, the studio's tap water is filtered. If you forget, there is bottled water available to purchase.
Pet. The. Dog. His name is Tigran and he is a TOTAL sweetheart. Definitely the unofficial mascot of Amrita.

This is beautiful studio space that has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, I had difficulty finding a class that suited my style of yoga after trying ~25 classes. The classes were a little too crowded to be comfortable and I never felt truly welcomed by the instructors here. I do recommend checking out Andrea's aerial yoga classes - they are a fun environment to try something new and Andrea is very encouraging. Amrita does offer discounted community classes and affordable pricing options, compared to other studios in Philly.

New to the neighborhood and signed up with the new member special. The price for the new member special is more than generous for the access to the studio.

I've attended a handful of classes, and have enjoyed the staff and studio.

I will be moving forward with a membership at the end of my new member special.

All the instructors here are awesome. There is no better start to my morning than a hot yoga class at Amrita Yoga studio.

The only yoga studio I ever want to be at. Tracy is an incredible teacher. Heathers classes are one of a kind and her attention to micro-movement and adjustments are the best I’ve received. This space is tranquil and serene and I love and cherish my time here! Cannot wait for the larger infrared hot yoga room to open 1/5/23!
