Anchored Traditions reviews
27Great atmosphere great barbers. I've gotten a cut from almost everyone in there and they are all great.
Yesterday one of you cut my extremely tired autistic sons hair (he's 2.5). Then his fathers. I wanted to say thank you for being so kind and collective. He has had numerous hair cuts from competitors around but you did phenomenal with his hair cut under the conditions he created for you. He has gotten so many compliments and its only been a day. I appreciate you tackling the job of cutting my extremely tired toddlers hair. Super impressed! Thank you.
Always make an effort to go to Trent, Pete, and the other great barbers here. Never have had a bad haircut. Expect to wait if you're walking-in during a busy time, so call ahead in the morning if you need your hair cut at a certain time. Everyone knows they're the best in town!
Clearly explained I wanted a skin fade up with a faux hawk style top. I received a military grade haircut. He didn’t know what he was doing, he constantly second guessed his decisions asking his coworker what to do and how to do it. It was meant to be a simple in and out hair cut. He never turned my chair to allow me to see what was actually going on. He lacked professionalism from start to finish. You shouldn’t answer a phone while you’re straight razoring someone.
Great barbershop. Great atmosphere. Only downside is that sometimes the wait can be long. I've been going to them for the past 10 years and have always walk away with a great haircut.
Trent and Pete are amazing barbers! The atmosphere is great, the work is great and the prices are unbeatable! I will never go anywhere else!
Trent is an amazing barber and the environment is so relaxed. All the barber's here a friendly. The only people who my son lets touch his hair and the only place I'll get a straight razor cut.
So glad this place is here! I don't need the fancy salons to have my hair cut, and the guys here are the best at what they do! Look forward to return visits!
Very friendly place to go, the guys do a great job. There's always some sort of conversation going on, makes you feel comfortable. There is a bit of a wait if you don't call in first, but you won't mind the wait. Come in, give them your name and have a seat. Parking can be a little tough depending on the day and time.
Trent is a great guy, and citizen. Has really improved flow of services and the shop looks much better than it did $ months ago.
Good to have someone squared away in charge! Always a quick, pleasant cut.
No nonsense real old fashioned barbers.
No Eurosex styling! Sign-in and willing to wait for great military to everyday good-looking hair for men. A barbershop for manly men!
I love Anchored Traditions. Most importantly my wife loves this barbershop for how nice they keep me looking. The barbers are great guys and know their craft. I first came to get a straight razor shave and have been coming back to get my hair cut every few months. Their price is beyond reasonable and they focus on details (not speed) so they are typically pretty busy. Be ready to spend about two hours between waiting and getting your haircut/shave. Trust me, it's worth the wait.
The guys at anchor Traditions are top notch barbers. It doesn't matter what kind of hairstyle you're looking for, all of the guys here are great at providing customers exactly what they're looking for. It doesn't matter if your coming in for your regular haircut or you take your child in for their first one. Any one of The Barbers here will do an excellent job. Great atmosphere in this location as well. Your typical throwback walk-in barber shop
First time but not the last time. I would call ahead for sure. $12 dollor haircut, $5. Dollor tip 17 thumbs up.
The shop was crowded. One barbar took a smoke break. He came back then the other one went to lunch.
Great place have been going here for years. Love what new owners have done with this place. Great haircuts at fair price.
Great haircut with little to no wait time. This was my first time there. Excellent old fashioned service. I will definitely return.
A good haircut can be hard to come by. After paying $23 dollars a visit for a mediocre cut out in WA for the last 5 years, I was delighted at how great a job they've done at Your Barber Shop. For only 12 dollars I've had two fantastic cuts from Pete at this shop. The fade was great and after a brief description of what I was looking for Pete knocked it out. The cut included a very well done edge up, an eyebrow trim, and a straight razor to sharpen up the lines. I'm moving out to Dillsburg here in a few weeks but I plan to make the trip back down to Chambersburg to continue to let Pete cut my hair.
$10 haircut all day everyday! Great barbers! Highly recommend this place. Old fashioned feel and service.
Best actual barber shop I've ever been to and won't go anywhere else. Great prices and great group of guys who work together to make sure you're looking sharp every time you walk out the door.
