Anderson's Chimney & Masonry Service reviews
11Great service, answered all of my questions. Knowledgeable. Will be using them for some needed repairs in the foreseeable future.
The technician was nice. Seemed to do an ok job but didn’t seen as clean as in past years and price increased $60 from last yr! Over $300 for less than an hour’s work seems excessive.
The technicians were friendly, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about fireplaces. When they were through, it looked like a brand new fireplace. I am very happy with Anderson Chimney Sweeps, and I will definitely use them again.
Very thorough and professional. I trust this business to help me maintain my chimney properly as I live in a 100+ year old house. Highly recommend!
David is such a super nice guy! So friendly, kind, patient, knowledgeable and thorough. Staff members like David are what make Anderson’s so great! Thanks again, David!
We recently had our chimney replaced by Anderson. We are very
pleased with the finished chimney. We have an older home and the
chimney was in very bad condition. They tore it down completely and the new one looks great. Was done in just over a day. Would highly recommend Anderson's Chimney and Masonry.
This company was servicing a customer that I had a contract with and they got called to verify two large crowns to be to code and creosote and they completely lied to customer and told them that the crown was to code to hold the top of the chimney together, which is 4in, when they only have a quarter inch up there. Also they said creosote was already cleaned when it was not removed and it is still there after multiples years of handling this fireplace fluesand potentially flammable these types of ways of undercutting people leaves people at risks and genuine work not getting done
The guys at Anderson Chimney, Eric and David showed up on time and did an extremely professional job of installing our new gas wood stove.
They were very respectful of our residence and made every effort to be clean and tidy.
They thoroughly trained me on the workings of the stove and I felt very comfortable with the operation.
Thank you for a job well done!
I am very grateful for Anderson's Chimney crew. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and I am happy they are willing to answer my questions. I appreciate that Andersons is leader in providing education for their staff and that they even open up their training facility so other chimney professionals can continue to be updated on best practices.
We had a very positive experience with Anderson's. The technicians who serviced our gas fireplace were professional and very knowledgeable. They actually showed up on time which is a big plus for me these days. Our fireplace is safe and working well now. We would highly recommend them!
I wasn't impressed for the premium I paid. Masonry chimney maintenance and minor masonry work that was scheduled for a few days turned into a month's long debacle because their crew's schedule was so strung out. They did mortar work on weather days they probably shouldn't have which caused issues. Every time they messed something up or weather got in the way, it was if we got put to the back of the line and it was another week delay before returning. I'm still picking masonry screws out of the lawn because it seems like they rushed off the site. They did not protect surrounding surfaces and components well. All the neighbors were asking what the heck was going on. The final product was just meh but I didn't complain because I wanted them off the property before something else went wrong and we would have to wait more weeks. Their managers and schedulers were well aware and I got no sort of appropriate call or attention, just a super prompt bill. I'm fairly understanding about the labor shortage out there, but I didn't feel they handled issues well at all. Maybe they would be fine if the project went perfectly. I was considering using them for to other work before all of this, but now I'm not so sure.
