Angelo's Restaurant, Washington PA

Had a wonderful birthday dinner with my family. We were thoughtfully located in a room where the Littles could play without disturbing other guests. The meals were outstanding, and our server was spot on!

My husband and I have been going to Angelo's since we started dating 37 years ago. It has always been terrific. It was the restaurant I chose to have dinner at the night before my daughter was born. We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and New Years at Angelo's. Tonight we had a wonderful meal and was server by Caleb. He was back and forth to make sure we had everything we needed and answered our questions. All the food and desserts were delicious! -Claire, David and Cait.

My sister and brother-in-law have been eating at Angelo's for years and they always rave about it! My wife had lunch here in July (Steak salad), and she, too told me how great the food was! So I was looking forward to our lunch date yesterday with high expectations. Nice atmosphere. Friendly waitress. Best wedding soup I've ever had! My wife enjoyed her steak salad just as she had during her first visit. I had the Philly Steak (sandwich). It was good, but Angelo's has to either use a smaller bun, or they need to give the sandwich more steak, onions, and green peppers. The 'bread-to-filling' ratio was much too high. God willing we'll be back.

Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere! It is our "go-to" place when we're craving Italian food. I want to give a shout out the server we had today. His name is Jay, and he really knows what the word "hospitality" means. He's very friendly, very efficient, and did everything he could to make sure we loved our dining experience.

Angelo’s is a local gem. We were traveling from Ohio to the East Coast and decided to stay over in Washington PA. This restaurant was a spectacular find. The veal was literally the best I ever had-bar none. Even the North End in Boston and the Little Italys in Philly, NYC and Baltimore. The veggies were cooked to perfection. There’s an extensive wine list. And don’t miss the gelato for dessert. The best part of all-remarkable and friendly service.

We had a 50th Anniversary party there, and it was wonderful.the service was terrific, and the food was fantastic. They really helped to make it a perfect afternoon. I would encourage everyone to try it if you are in the area. A great Italian cuisine.

My daughter went to Washington and Jefferson College, and we went to Angelo's every time we visited, and after every home soccer match we attended. It's the best Italian food. And I'm addicted to their Chicken Parmigiano and pasta. Wow. So good. And their appetizers are great. The Angelo's peppers, calamari, and zucchini are superb. Love this place.

We had a fabulous dinner & wine. Very attentive staff. However, we were seated directly under an ac vent & all of us were shivering. We were able to be moved to a table where it was warmer; otherwise, we would have left.

I remember this place from when I was a kid and thought it was great then-it still is great. With wonderful, personable server. Grazie.

We went their for a reception after a funeral so I can only speak to the event menu that we had. The staff was quite efficient and friendly. The limited menu we had consisted of an appetizer of flat bread with cheese and seasonings, a salad, chicken, meatballs, and spaghetti. The food was well prepared. We plan on going back because the full menu looked interesting. I would, based on my limited experience recommended this venue.

Oh my goodness where to begin! A colleague recommended Angelo’s in passive conversation and we knew we had to go. When a deep rooted Italian gentleman recommends “an authentic and delicious Italian restaurant” you get in the car and go!
We did make a reservation, as we understand the service industry is often stretched thin now. When we arrived we were immediately seated and met our waitress Beth.

She provided the specials of the evening, was attentive and kind, interacted well with our kids and overall provided the kind of service we so actively search for now.

I won’t regale our entire dining experience but it was absolutely superb. They may even have the best tiramisu and cheesecake ever! Plus, their gelato menu is what every kid dreams of!

This is more than restaurant, it was an experience. We were blown away by our exquisite meals and the unbelievably attentive service.

The food was 5/5, service 5/5, atmosphere 5/5, experience 5/5. We will absolutely be returning to have a wonderful family dinner at Angelo’s again!

Prices are reasonable and the portions are hefty. Everything we got was delicious. Our waitress was amazing. The Gelato was a definite must. I would highly recommend them over olive garden any day.

Had chix parmesan. Food was good but really skimpy on the sauce. Salad was just ok. Not much to it. Bread was great. Gelato was excellent. When we received our salads we had no silverware. Had to ask twice to get some.

Great food. Soup was delicious. Just make sure you make a reservation if you want to eat there. Also, bread was good, however I wish the crust was softer.

Angelo's was established in 1939. That's over 80yrs of serving amazing Italian dishes! The food, service, and atmosphere were FANTASTIC! I highly recommend a trip to Washington PA.to enjoy Angelo's.

The food was great and the service was great. The only downside is the prices. I paid for four people and the total was about $175 with the tip. Granted they got a couple of appetizers, a couple of alcoholic drinks, and dessert, but that's over $42 per person. I'll probably be back, but I'll not be so extravagant with the extras.
