Girlllll last min and they saved me and it only took 2 hours nice price and all and my hair look super good better then motherland wish I could post a good pic

My first experience here and she was so pleasant, gentle and finished faster than expected. It was a last minute appointment and she fit me in. Loving my hair.will definitely be going back.

Angie and her team are very polite, provide fast service, and I always love how neat my styles are. I’ve been multiple times, whenever I get braids, this is where I go. Prices are also very reasonable. They offer take down services as well, which I really appreciate.

So far I like their services and their customer service, they braid my hair just like we agreed on.

The shop was hard to find, did not know it was in a basement not really a problem just a heads up for others. The consumer service was bad, she literally ripped out my hair, the style was way to tight would not recommend.

I have been coming for close to two years. Angie is very responsive, provides quality service and great prices. I am always happy with my hair.

I went at 9am to get kinky twist the lady who did my hair, put large boxes in the back & tried to hide it by making the sides & top smaller. She was Is very unprofessional she laugh & talked loudly in my ear almost the entire 5hrs I was in the chair. I have been there several times & never had an issue, however today was my last time. Smh I am so disgusted with how my hair turnt out. When I spoke with the owner Angie all she said was it looks fine. After I let her know it does not look full like the last Kinky twist I recieved. Afterwards the lady who did my hair started to speak in french talking smack I assume. I ask her to speak english she did not comply. Ppl don't have money to just give away. If you are brave enough to trust this braiding salon bring a mirror with you to monitor the work being done to your hair. As for me I will be looking for a new braiding shop ASAP. MESSED MY HAIR UP & WAISTED 5HRS OUT OF MY DAY.

Angie and her stylist are very nice and sweet. This is my first time going to her salon and they took their time and my hair came out perfect just how I wanted it. I will be coming back to them as my personal hair braiders. Thanks again ladies. Love. Peace. & Light Asé

I should of walked out when I looked around at other woman’s hair.these ladies DO NOT KNOW HOW TO BRAID HAIR CORRECTLY! Then get mad when you call them out! Bad Customer service! Coming from a New Yorker.

The ladies are polite and the location is good. They move very fast and I was able to be seen immediately on a Saturday afternoon. I called ahead and asked for small braids. The lady on the phone asked if I wanted micro-small or smedium. I definitely didn’t want micros so I opted for smedium but that name is confusing. My braids turned out much larger than what I wanted. The parts and braids are medium and have no body/volume as a result. I also asked for waist length and the braids fell below my butt which is not ideal for my job. Another young lady asked for small braids while I was there and her braids turned out just like mine. They can braid but I’m just disappointed that I didn’t really get what I wanted.

Angie is the only hair braiding shop I go to. The Salon is professional and they braid fast and neat. I would highly recommend this shop.

I had small knotless braids done at Angie's and I'm extremely satisfied. I went in at 9am and was out at appx 12: 45-1pm. Esther did my hair and I am pleased with how neatly she braided my hair and how quickly she finished. She also put my hair up in a bun; the bun looked great and was neat as well. I will definitely schedule with her again. The shop is neat, clean and has air conditioning.

After reading the other reviews. Clearly I didn’t do my homework first! Went it to get some shoulder length tree braids, size small/medium. Well let’s just say the back was small/medium, the middle was medium, and the top was large! Just horrible. The braids were beyond uneven throughout. Parts included! The stylist cut my natural hair while trimming the braids (something I noticed after I removed the braids) and the curly human hair I brought myself, was HORRIBLY placed! The style was beyond heavy and those braids came out that night after getting a severe headache and my scalp feeling like it was on fire! The hair was just not good. The service after I complained what happened was even worse! I wouldn’t suggest this place to my worse enemy. Women love their hair and we wanna look beautiful after spending our hard owned money! The only thing I got was an apology. They offered to redo, but I’d be a fool to let them back in my head. I should’ve know cuz even looking around at the others getting their hair braided, none of their styles looked good! This place is in a basement, and the hairstyles are the same, basement technique! Just horrible. Please stay away.

In response to this review down below, …. It was never about getting my money back. I still have the text messages sent to you, to prove that! So don’t come on here acting like I left a bad review to dirty your business. I left a bad review because I had a bad experience and your response to my bad experience was not professional. I never even asked for a refund at first. My first message said that. Still didn’t want one and truth be told could’ve taken it further and gotten my money back. As stated in the text though, ‘I wasn’t looking for a refund because a service was still done. Just in the future, make sure you do the style that was asked for or be honest and say you can’t do it! ’…. And a better response, whether a partial refund or at least an apology or something would’ve sufficed! You blatantly just didn’t care. I showed a pic and the style was not like the pic. Point, blank, PERIOD! That style came out same night and I went and got it done the right way with someone more professional and more experienced with doing what I was looking for. So you have a good one.

I went here to get me and my 2 grls hair done, it was an awesome experience, the place clean and peaceful. We all ove ur hair and will surely come back. I highly!
