They do not set aside times for animals to be seen if your animal is sick or hurts themselves. My dog started limping and the soonest they had available was over a week!

Had to put a cat down, girls at front counter were nice and good looking doctor seemed a little caring over us being unhappy about the situation but the doctor seemed impatient over the process and we felt a little rushed. Got good time in with the cat while she was passing but felt rushed afterward.

This used to be a good vet. But when this place moved and new people started working. This place really went down hill and dont impress me much. Their schedule dont even go out 2 months. We're before I could book appts yearly. I don't like the way this new place does business. Their worse than geisingers scheduling

They did a wonderful job with spaying our puppy. The price was very reasonable. It included cleaning her ears & trimming her nails. It also included her post surgical collar

My dogs and cats have received excellent care and Dr Campbell performed surgeries on my beloved terrier, Champ, May he rest in peace.

I took my cat to ACC to have her nails trimmed and they missed trimming several of her nails.

We moved to this area 32 years ago and our Rottie had a fatal heart attack on our back deck. That was our 1st experience with ACC. We were very happy with their care and concern for all our pets since. Just last week we had to have our 14 yr.old calico Nikki euthanized. They were treating her for a couple of years for hypothyroidism but she reached a point where we knew (and so did she). When we took her in they were very kind with her and us just as they had been with 4 of our other cats over the years past. Dr. Ryan was also caring in regards to my hubby's and my feelings. I told him I'd be back with 2 other cats soon. I would highly recommend them for all your pets care.

We have used Animal Care for roughly 15 years or more. Have referred to friends and family. But that all ended today unfortunately. We payed 190$ for answers that we were not given. Our dog is bred at 47 days she was × rayed and the answer I got over the phone was bring her back in a week or two. I understand if they couldn't make things out but bringing her back for another 100$ or more and possibly no answers again isn't a option. Bigger isn't always better so sad.

Great Care Center! Techs and doctors are excellent. We just adopted a puppy through Haven2Home rescue, and this center was Awesome on the dogs health.

️Danville Pet Owners Beware️
Normally, I do not post bad experiences. However, as a pet lover/owner myself, I found it necessary to share our experience so others can make the most informed decisions regarding their baby's care.

Late August/early September of '22, we took Maple in for an obstruction caused by a silicone can cover she ate. Unbeknownst to us, the vet and staff (who, at that point, had never performed surgery on her) did NOT do a pre-anesthesia blood workup. I was under the impression that the normal labs and workups would be performed, as that is standard of care for both humans and animals. It has since been explained to me that ACC only performs those labs on pets older than 6. This was NEVER discussed with or approved by me. My animals ALWAYS get labs done before surgery-even teeth cleanings!

Fast forward a few months and we are rushing Maple to Pittsburgh because she as a hematocrit of 5. Our primary vet, emergency vet, internal medicine vet, and oncologist were all FLOORED when they reached out to ACC for her pre-surgery labs and were met with "we didn't perform any". The one vet even called ACC herself to verify because the thought of giving such a strong medication to a tiny animal without pre-labs was inconceivable to her.

We know that the surgery did not cause the severe anemia, but had the proper screenings been done, 1) an incidental finding of a lowering RBC would have been caught and could have been treated in a more timely fashion, 2) even if her RBC and other CBC values were normal, our doctors would have had a much clearer timeframe to benchmark the onset of her anemia, thus making a diagnosis of the underlying disease a little easier.

Further, due to the anemia, Maple was diagnosed with a grade 4/5 heart murmur. While we can ASSUME that her anemia and heart murmur were not that severe at the time of the obstruction surgery, we have reason to believe (it appears her body had adapted to the anemia, which implies the disease was not sudden) that the anemia/heart murmur could have been present at the time of her surgery. Obviously these conditions were not known to me or reflected in her charts then, but standard pre-anesthesia labs could have revealed them. Both conditions pose increased risk during surgical procedures that use anesthesia - my sick, at-risk pet was blindly operated on!

Outside of the clinical incompetence and gross misjudgment of their doctors, the staff is extremely rude. When I called to speak with the vet regarding the decision to not perform standard-of-care labs, I was told he was out of office. When asked to leave a number, I nicely asked if I could leave two (I have poor cell phone reception at my house). The receptionist's exact words to me were, "he will only call one, so you better pick which one you think you'll answer first". It takes a lot to render me speechless, but I had no words.

Frankly put, ACC's gross negligence is a result of arrogance and laziness. Fortunately, Maple's condition was not advanced enough to cause the obstruction surgery to be fatal, but that was merely a gamble to ACC. I would not trust the well-being of a gnat to Animal Care Center.
