Ann's Choice Retirement Community reviews
22I was just informed a dear friend of mine cannot visit their dying grandparent due to completely ludicrous reasons (that weren’t even covid related I might add)! How cruel and unacceptable to deny a family a final goodbye with a loved one! I know during this time we all wish to be covid free and help at risk individuals, but the person is dying, I don’t think this calls for extreme measures. Disappointing. This is regards to the rose garden just to clarify.
My mother and father-in-law have been residence there Eddie and Choyce for 13 years and have put in over $500,000 between the initial apartment cost and monthly fees. My mother-in-law required rehabilitation services in the Rosegarden was not available. After we have my mother-in-law required assisted-living and there was no place for her to go. We are now paying major dollars out of pocket for her to have nursing care in her apartment and waiting for an assisted living spot. Ericsson living does not stand up to what they preach on their advertisements and they do not live up to their promise.
My mother was a resident in the independent living apartments for 10 years - now she has been in Chestnut Point Assistant Living and that is another story. The lack of communication with the family is frustrating. You can call over and over again and no one ever returns your calls. The price she pays to live there is a crime - no one words to put that. The food is just horrible! Maybe now, someone will call me back!
Ann's Choice has provided us with our perfect retirement community. The grounds and buildings are well-maintained, and the staff is very friendly and caring! Our life couldn't be better - with so many options for dining and activities. It's like a small town here, and we continue to meet many new friends with whom we enjoy sharing stories at dinner.
Ann's Choice is a beautiful place for retired people. Great service, great people. My Mother was very happy there.
However, don't get sick or break a bone because their ROSE GARDEN facility is way understaffed! If there is a Dr, he or she goes through, blink and you'll miss her. The help does the taking care of patients and work in the kitchen so don't try to get help breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I never got an answer of who these caretakers were and what degree, if any, they have! Also the people quit so often you rarely get to know them. NEEDS MUCH MORE MONEY PUT IN IT BY THE RICH ERICKSON COMPANY. I'll be shocked if they allow this to show on reviews!
Had a wonderful New Year 's Eve party at Ann's Choice. Included were a live band for dancing, noisemakers, large nerf stick that lit up, crudites, refreshments, cookies and pastries. Other table mates brought snacks and champagne to share. At midnight, we danced the Mummer's Strut.
I've been a resident at Ann's Choice for almost 7 years and I'm so glad that I decided to move here. There's so much to do, I've made so many friends and thoroughly enjoy my smaller living space. Don't miss cutting grass or raking leaves, etc. There's always someone to talk to and so many things to do. It was a great decision to move here!
Ann's Choice is an amazing place! I can't say enough good things about it. Fabulous surroundings, great staff, and an incredible number of activities. It's big, but does not feel institutional in any way. I felt at home here in no time and am thankful to be here.
Since my mother in law Joan Smith moved to ann's choice our lives have changed for the better.as a family we feel so secure knowing she is in a safe and caring community.for Joan she has done a 180 since moving in she is more outgoing, involved and vibrant.she enjoys the entertainment along with the clubs and elegant evenings.she is also an ambassador helping potential residents make a tough decision.from her firs encounter with the sales staff right up until her daily encounters with the staff she's had nothing but pleasant experiences
I am very happy with the way my grandmother has been treated since moving there last October. She loves her new residence and takes full advantage of all it has to offer! All the employees we have come in contact with have been so helpful and friendly.
My grandparents moved here recently and love this community. Renee and the rest of the team has been wonderful in making them feel at home!
My father in law, Don as lived at Ann's Choice for many years! He says: It is a wonderful place to live and meet new people. The activities are great too! I would recommend Ann's Choice for anyone looking for a new adventure and new friendships.
My grandmother lives at this wonderful community. She has been there about 9 months and has never been happier. She wanted nothing to do with making a move and now has been extremely happy with the community. The process of making a move was seamless for her and the sales team did a wonderful job making it stress free. The security team at Ann's Choice has taken great care of her any time she has had to use her emergency call button for assistance. She couldn't have picked a better place!
My father moved here a year ago. It was a perfect lifestyle adjustment for him. He loves his apartment, there is a nice variety of restaurants, and trips are very well run. Staff is very friendly and promptly address any issues that arise.
My mother moved into ann's choice 2 yrs ago and it has changed her life.she is active in everyway possible and has made many new friends.the staff from the sale of her home right up until now has been extremely helpful and pleasant.she especially enjoys the shows and elegant evenings along with some clubs.because of the security we sleep well at night knowing she is safe and looked out for.
My husband and I have lived at Ann's Choice for almost eight months. It took us a few months to find the right apartment and the right location so our view was just what we wanted. The sales staff was very patient and gave us help with the decision. We used one of Ann's Choice preferred realtors and preferred movers and couldn't have been more pleased with both. We have met wonderful new friends and the food is excellent. We are very happy with our decision to move to Ann's Choice.
I used to work at Ann's Choice and my Bubby now lives there. I could not think of a better, safer place with more caring staff than Ann's Choice for her to live.
My grandmother lives here and she absolutely loves it. The staff and residents are so nice and she is glad she moved here. They provide almost all services on site, so there's no need to ever leave.
Ann's Choice is an excellent facility to live in. They have everything that you want for your retirement and assisting living. I have been here for over 3Years. As Ambassador I recommend Ann's Choice to our Community and outside Community. This place is rated Five Stars.
My grandparents lived there, and while they may have been in the early stages of Dementia, they seemed to really enjoy it. I can't thank the staff enough for the excellent care they provided my grandparents. Rose Garden was also a place where my grandpop ended, and yet again the staff was incredible in the way they cared for him. WONDERFUL place for elderly people to live, and not have to worry or be judged for walking too slow, etc.
