Anthony & Sylvan Pools, Warminster PA

I signed a pool construction agreement in September of 2020 and have paid A&S approximately $85,000 out of a $90,000 contract. Today is July 1st of 2021 and there is still no timeline for completion, nor do they even have the materials needed to complete my pool construction. The inventory/purchase system they use is useless and worst of all, I do not trust anything I am told as the opposite seems to come true. Further, the follow-up has to be initiated by the customer, not the company, which is the opposite of how to run a business. I would not use this Anthony & Sylvan to install my pool. Even if you have to pay more, it's worth looking elsewhere.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. They do not stand behind their warranties. Opened my pool, and the next day it was empty. Left me with the bill to refill it!

Would give negative stars if I could. This is the worst pool company. They hire contractors to do the work which you could do yourself and save a lot of money skipping Anthony Sylvan. The contractors they hired for my pool were terrible. Every step had to be redone. The plaster was terrible, so much so it had to be redone a few days after the pool was filled. The second plaster job was also terrible. Anthony Sylvan will not stand behind their work or their warranty. Once they get your money you no longer matter to them. Customer service is a joke, which is no surprise when you see how lacking the customer care is from the general manager. We were told the issues with the plaster would be corrected in March of 2021, we are still waiting. We haven’t heard from Anthony Sylvan since last September. Before hiring them
Read the reviews on Better Business Bureau, they are terrible! Search Facebook for pages people created about Anthony Sylvan and read the hundreds of complaints and issues customers have with their pools installed by Anthony Sylvan. Nothing good comes from hiring this company!

Great indoor pool I have pool for 14 years but when i need service they do not service my area Danville, pa. Very disappointed. Roger A.

Been in the retail store and prices are crazy.
Also, tried to get a simple quote for a safety cover on 20x50 rectangle pool with steps. Said my only option was to have someone come out and measure.
I said never mind. How hard is it to workup a ball park quote without having to measure?

Good workers and quality was great. Only problem was in amount of time to complete. Started in mid-November, completed mid-August of following year.

Overall we had a very good experience with this company. They walked us through each step along the way and answered all of our questions quickly and professionally. We definitely recommend using Anthony & Sylvan. We love our pool and are excited to use it!

We relied on Anthony & Sylvan to build our 16,000 gallon free form in-ground pool. We're happy with every facet of the project (from the initial design consultation thru each of the construction phases thru the final product). The entire group of teams were professional and true experts at their craft (excavation, steel, piping, patio & hard-scaping, plastering, etc.). Overall we are very happy with the entire project and would recommend Anthony & Sylvan to anyone interested in a complete pool package (pool + patio + more).

Rich has been helpful throughout the entire process. He was never hard to get ahold of, and, although there were delays because of Covid-19, he was able to get the job done! He has also been very hands on with opening our pool. He answers phone calls and emails quickly, and Has solved any problems quickly. He is excellent to work with!

Absolutely TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I cannot begin to express the infinite amount of RIDICULOUS BS we have endured with this company. So many mistakes on such an expensive project, horrendous customer service, one incompetent person after the next (if they ever return your calls).

Anthony & Sylvan renovated same pool that Anthony installed 29 years ago. Great product, sales team, renovation team and customer service.

Watching our neighbors pool project get abandoned. Mistake after mistake, poorly managed. Corporate office was contacted after months of no shows, said they would take it over and get it back on track. Showed up the week after the call for one day, now no shows for scheduled work. Too many good pool companies out there to even consider this one.

Very happy with the end result. They addressed any issues that came up during the process. We love our pool!

There were a few times when the response time to my calls or emails could have been more timely, problems could have been addressed more quickly, but Anthony Sylvan more then made up for any inconvenience in the end. Every employee, or contractor was professional and friendly. I could not be happier with the end result and have already recommened Anthony Sylvan to people who have asked who did my pool.

My experience with AS Pools has been extremely positive. From the initial meeting with Rob on the AS product, to Harald "holding our hand" all the way through, to contractors coming to our site and doing their job, to actually being able to swim now, has been great. Everyone from the initial excavator, to the rebar crew, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, concrete people, tilers, etc, have been so easy to work with and so nice. We are extremely satisfied and happy with our pool.
