Everyone was very personable and friendly when I brought my dog Berkley for his first appointment. The care we received was great and I feel confident if there are any major health issues he will get A+ care from Anthracite Animal Clinic.

Always went above and beyond when my dogs need treatment. Very compassionate.
Reasonable charges.

All the staff are nice and caring. I like that my dog will see the same vet at her appointments. I've taken my previous dogs here as well. Highly recommend.

The staff is kind.the doctor is not.my pup had a growth.it kept getting bigger.i kept taking her.finally on the third visit the dr thought it should be operated on.they scheduled surgery 4 months out! 4 months! She died the next week! She killed my baby girl with neglect.i should have taken her somewhere else after the second time it was ignored.

They are all wonderful at this clinic! My 14 year old, female pomeranian, who is in the stages of kidney failure, had a very bad episode. I thought I was going to lose her. She wouldn't eat and had diarrhea. They kept her hospitalized for two nights on iv fluids. This was about two weeks ago. She is now back to her normal old self again. I thank them for saving her life! And at a very reasonable price as well. Will never go to any other vet. They are hands down the absolute BEST in the area!

We unfortunately have a fear reactive dog. He isn't good around other dogs, esp since he was attacked by one in our neighborhood. Another vet just outright refused to see us.

These guys were great with him. They let us wait outside then brought us in when ready. My dog wore a muzzle just in case. The vet tech gave me the impression she might have been newish but she was fantastic with him. The vet was compassionate and never made us feel bad that our dog is the way he is.

Front desk girls were professional and knowledgeable.

We are definitely sticking with Anthracite. Highly recommend these guys.

UPDATE, Sept 2022: They were so great with the first dog so we brought a second dog in for a checkup that I inherited from a family member. They were super fantastic with her too. Just for background, she's a 14 yr old yellow lab who's generally friendly. They were just fantastic with the way they handled her old arthritic body and didn't upset her in any way (being in an unfamiliar environment and in pain from arthritis). They recommended a chew for her to help with her pain and it's really working. She tries to run like a puppy again.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. So happy we found them.

Had a great experience at Anthracite Animal Clinic, LLC last evening. We took Scout to establish care and make sure his vaccinations are up to date. The Veterinarian was patient, thorough and pleasant, made recommendations and explained all the options. The pet wellness plan offered there is comprehensive and affordable. Appointment availability and evening hours are convenient. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful - highly recommend.

The best caring attention to detail vet and assistants you could ask for. I used the messenger app also and always prompt responses. Building is always clean and they are very cautious with pets that may be infected with something. They really do care about your fur baby. When I write reviews I shoot straight

This really upsets me to post. I loved this place so much before I would recommend everyone here.the vet was the best she gave me 2 more years with my best friend.but that was 5 years ago.i do not no what the dramatic change was here but I won't recommend anyone here now. I took my cat here who had a Tumor On the outside of her chest that had a Infection they gave her a Antibiotic shot sent me home go back 2 weeks latter same theretreatment Scheduled surgery For March I called back 2 days laterasking if they could remove it sooner because now she was bleeding bad I was told no booked up here's the thing I was told it was ok to wait she would be ok well that was not true she would of passed away in a day or to if it wasn't for another vet who took her right in for me same day even though he was booked up he saved my cars life but because of the long delay my cay has no use of her paw now.it upsets me so bad I had to find another vet because this place wouldn't help

First visit to Anthracite Animal Clinic today. Liz was an exceptional first point of contact, offering advice, answering my questions, and providing a food sample that my dog liked.

I was very happy taking my dog to Anthracite. I had concerns and they were able to get him in within 2 weeks during Oct-Sep. We did lab work while there and we did not wait long. We learned that my dog tested positive for anaplasmosis and because the lab work didn't take long, Austin was able to start his antibiotics the same day. I got great advice and recommendations from the team and I feel very comfortable and confident taking Austin back for all of his veterinary needs.

Just took our two dogs to Anthracite for the first time and we were impressed! Great customer service and treated our dogs so well, we have a new vet!

I called this place with a severely Ill dog they turned me away. My family all takes there pets there but I guess my dog gets to die. I will never ever suggest this place to anyone. They couldn’t care less.
