Appalachian Trailer Sales reviews
17I’ve been trying to order a new trailer and initially Kayleigh was great. Now it’s been 2 weeks and still haven’t had a one return email after reaching out multiple times. If they don’t want to give me a price let me know and I’ll go to another manufacturer.
Very dissatisfied 2 time now axles are bent didn't stand behind warranty 15,000 lb dump trailer to find out after first replacing of axles and springs they only put 7,000 lb springs same problem again now their welds are broken in all 4 corners brand new it could not lift 7,000 lb of gravel
I worked with Kaleigh over a few weeks to purchase our trailer. She was absolutely amazing with helping us get our trailer financed and getting the necessary documents required for it.
I showed up here at 12: 10pm on Saturday with cash in hand to purchase 5 trailers. I called and spoke to the manager when I was 2 hours away telling him I was coming with cash and running a few minutes late but I had cash in hand to make my purchases. He told me if your not here by 12 I can’t help you I will be closing the gate and hung up on me. I kept driving hoping to cut the 10 minutes off my time mind you I was with my wife and infant baby son. I made the 5 hour trip and go there at 12: 10 gates were closed but cars were still there. So I tried calling again and no answer. I kept driving 45 min and purchased 5 trailers cash from a company that is in business to sell trailers and took absolute great care of me. Beware do not give these people your business.
Kaleigh Hilton at Appalachian Trailers was an absolute dream to work with. She couldn't have made it any easier to buy a trailer that fit our needs. She has to be the reason they are so successful on the sales side of things. The quality and craftsmanship is beyond amazing. Every step of the way was the done in a timely and efficient manner. Thank you again Kaleigh. We will definitely be doing business again in the future.
Appalachian Trailer's are high quality builds for a competitive price. Incredibly happy with my choice to go with them. Thanks again,
From start to finish, the buying experience was one of the best I have had. The staff were very informative and the who process flowed nicely. Learned some things about trailers that I did not know.
These are built in America, Ohio to be exact. #MAGA
Don't waste your time going anywhere else. I bought the 14 ft contractor grade single axle. I'm the type of guy who wants the most for his hard earned money. This is the place.
Pros:
Kaleigh Hilton, OH and the Lebanon, PA Sales staff and Maintenance Personnel were quite helpful and payed attention to details. The quality of their trailers represented on the website is quite good and I was asked valuable questions concerning it's proposed use.
Pros:
A very nice feature is having a notary close in distance to the dealership. The inclement weather held their delivery date back a few days, but they communicated with me most steps of the way.
Cons:
They give you a pre-pickup inspection, when I pick up the trailer I inspected the trailer myself before completing payment (I have been welding over 40 years). After inspecting the welds on the trailer, and signing a release form ("Stating as soon as I left the dealership I was responsible for it's condition. "). { I looked underneath the bed at the crossbeams, they were welded vertical down and wavy to each side: 0 (. The upper welds on the trailer looked fine, except the cap plates on the extra Winch Channel Iron ;0 (. I will be putting more black paint on the trailer when I correct the welds. }
I think I should take pictures of the welds and offer to show the welder with a welding fillet gauge what wavy means.
Cons:
I would think a less educated person concerning welding and fabrication would not know what to look at. I traveled home and arrived after a static test of a 1 1/2 hours of driving. The trailer looks good and when I have the pictures and welds corrected-If they are bad enough I will call the factory.
Very nice people first time there.small but ma and pa run business.need to keep them in business
Very nice dealer with the great people. They helped me all the questions for the trailer with the knowledge and safety.they are friendly I appreciate thanks.
When to look at a trailer before I ordered it. People very nice an took time to show me the trailers.
Looked at competitor brands and landed at Appalachian trailers! Most bang for the dollar with all the standard features. 6x10 dumper! Good people
Great quality dump trailer! Great price! Could not have had a better buying experience. Paperwork was in a folder, ready, when I arrived; in-and-out of the notary in ten minutes!
Good people at the Manheim location. Very nice and helpful. Got our utility/ATV trailer for a great price. Definitely happy with our shopping experience, product, and price.
I had purchased an 18ft diamond plate floor 7000gvw trailer a few weeks ago. I had called and talked to Greg, great guy and was excellent to deal with. I was able to pick up trailer in a few weeks at the PA location. Trailer is very nice, built well and tough, and just a great friendly environment. I would suggest this company to anyone looking for a trailer!
Will never order another trailer again. I ordered a trailer, They put the wrong fenders on it. And their so called water tight connection is a steel residential receptacle box.and 3 out of the 4 axle seals leaked.
