Applebee's Grill + Bar, Altoona PA

I don't understand your rational for skipping tables unless it's related to staff shortage. We were able to avoid a 40 minute wait and walk by half a dozen empty tables to sit at the bar elbow to elbow with strangers. Food was good - kids really enjoyed themselves (at the bar). I miss the red crunchies with the Fiesta lime chicken, and feel we were shorted a few ounces of queso but all in all a nice family place to eat.

Been going to this restaurant for years. Always good service and food. Especially great give this pandemic situation.

Food was good, service was friendly. Took longer than expected to be seated when there were empty tables everywhere. Guessing they are short staffed.

I ordered a burger and it was raw in parts of the burger. I would give less then a star if I could.

That Mac and cheese was delectable but the steak I asked for medium well and kept getting well done. Not once but twice. So the manager comped our meal overall great atmosphere and service.

Highly dissatisfied with the service tonight. We waited over 40 minutes for our meals, then another 25 minutes for them to come get our check and cash out, since you cannot cash out at the register for some odd reason. May not go back to this establishment

Ate there a couple times while I was in town food is good employees were fantastic and I think the meals is pretty cheap

With shortage of workers at most all restaurants we was most fortunate to have the sweetest and very on point waitress to help all 5 of us get exactly what we wanted with awesome service with smile!

Very great meal with my family! Our waitress, Carrie (I think that is how you spell it). She was great, didn't have to ask for a thing! She also was very friendly Food was delish I highly recommend the Fiesta lime chicken!

Worst FATHER'S DAY Dinner experience ever! 6/20/21 The waitress Cylie and Manager Mr. Fernandez treated my 78 yr old HANDICAPPED FATHER and I with such POOR SERVICE and DISRESPECT! It was his first experience at an Applebee's. I have been in the Food & Beverage business PERSONALLY for 50 years and never seen such a poorly managed operation. I used to recommend their establishment.

Food was superb. Beer pretzel app fab shrimp dishes excellent. Service was good but waitress could not bring us extra napkins. Got really annoyed when for 4uh time asking she said she would have to go to the back to get one. Really?

Wow! The past several years I have had nothing but bad experiences going to applebees, to the point where my family had sworn to never return. I was dragged in by my coworkers as we were staying in the near by hotel. The Bartender was amazing. The my food was good. And so were the drinks. Definitely restored some hope for Applebee's

My daughter's favorite place besides Chinese. Great service! She had all the staff's attention because she ordered 4 kids meals.

Rest rooms were messy. Service was slow and there weren't many customers as we got there about 1: 30 PM.

We enjoyed our stop at Applebee's. The food was great and the service was prompt and efficient.

Dont eat a hamburger there. Got food poisoning last night from there. It was a horrible nite last night. Never going there again
