Applebee's Grill + Bar, Thorndale PA

Make sure you check your bill first. We’ve now been there twice where meals were double charged. Both times the server came back, and when we looked concerned said “I know the _ is on there twice”. First time we let it go but the second time when it happened the exact same way was suspicious. Feels like they are intentionally charging extra in hopes you don’t notice. The issue was not the mistake, but that both times they knew, handed us a bill and went to other tables. And both times they knew as soon as we said we had a question or looked concerned. Neither time did we have to actually say something was double billed. I really hope it is not intentional, but it’s hard to look past two exact incidents with two different servers.

Karl our server was very excellent and attentive. I just wish I could have tipped him more. I definitely recommend the thorndale Applebee's

Cold food when it's slow in the restaurant is inexcusable. It was probably my worst visit there to date. The waitress step on my toe with one of those immobilizer boots on. Once is an accident twice is careless. Asked for a medium well burger. What I got was cool and mostly pink and squishy raw. Fries were warm not hot. The entire service was slow.

Every time I get carside when I open up my food it is not presentable or fresh. The ribs were hard. When you order inside the ribs fall off the bone. The sizzling bourbon street chicken was dry. I liked Applebees but my mind is changing. Unless things get better I will stop purchasing from Applebees and will certainly recommend others or tell others not to patronize this location (Thorndale). This is the third time this happened. 3 strikes your out

Look, if you don't know by now what Applebee's is do you live in a cave? Decent food, portions too large so expect to get dinner and tomorrow's lunch from one order, no Michelin stars but what you expect for American casual dning.

Very awesome staff. The food is amazing and very affordable. The atmosphere is great. They always have sports on and you can watch what ever game is on because they broadcast live all sports.

Nathan was amazing. Took care of us real good! If you've been to Applebee's there isn't much to really add there. Food was good. The steak initially was overcooked but Nathan took care of everything. We appreciate him. Thank you!

Sort of a motley crue that work at this establishment. But my family has been going here for years. It is a solid, kid friendly option.

Had the 2 for $24.meal. Got mozzarella sticks for appetizer and had classic cheese burger. And got a free lava cake for my birthday

All staff was welcoming and seemed happy to help. I went for a late lunch food was serve quickly. I ordered a burger, there was no problem to substitute broccoli for fries added boneless wings for a dollar. They were quite tasty. I plan to go back again.

I was very unhappy about the all you eat wings that was 12.99 and they was so hard I almost broke a tooth me and my partner was very unhappy about tonight’s dinner and I paid to much for my food to be hard and we was unhappy

Our server, Nathan, was top notch. Had drinks and food to table quickly for our 4 little ones. Thank you!

After not visiting Applebees for a minute now, our experience was not a good one. While actively eating the host came directly besides our table and started vigorously sweeping the carpet beside us. I ask him not to because it was stirring up dust and he proceeded to argue with me about needing to do his job. I insisted that he discontinue doing his job while we were eating. He stopped but with attitude. Who does that, sweep while people are eating to the point where we are waving off dust, that mines you, comes off of peoples shoes walking in and out of the restaurant? I talked to our waiter and ask him to explain why I ask him to stop. We got an apology from the waiter but while leaving we received no thank you for coming and was actually totally ignored. That’s all good, I’ll just keep my dollars for another establishment where I can eat and not choke on dust or have my food covered with it while eating.

First time to an Applebee's. It was OK, nothing special, nothing terrible. Not likely to return to Applebee's since there are many other choices.

Sam, our server, took such good care of us tonight. He was extremely personable, friendly, and quick with everything! Made me and my boyfriends experience 10 times better. We will definitely be coming back for his service!

Went for steak dinner and was very disappointed, got 8 Oz and it was thus flat dry small piece of meat, no juice over cooked, the rest of the plate was same dry, like it was sitting back there and they reheated it. It was barely warm, my husband bourbon steak that was only $1 more was hot and looked like a steak but was by no means cooked to medium. Waitress never asked how our food was, when she came by had to ask salt pepper to try to put flavor on my steak and veg had to ask twice and by that time I got it all was cold. Very disappointed, doubt will come back very sorry we wasted $60+ on that meal

I went to applebees to have a good time and enjoy myself with my friend. Waitress took my I.d and said it was okay. And then she checked my friends I. D and because it was expired she refused to serve us both stating that we had to have some at the mature age of 25 to legally serve me. I don’t understand how she refused to serve me when I can literally go to a bar and have as many drinks as I desire and walk out. It just really just didn’t add up to me. Please someone tell me if I’m over exaggerating or if she was wrong.

The only reason I’m able to give this place higher than one star is because of the waitress we had named Taylor. Such a personable experience and extremely reassuring while the rest of the restaurant was in shambles. That girl deserves a raise
