Applebee's Grill + Bar, Carlisle PA

Need to wait for a while. The food was good. Andrea is a nice girl whose service was good. I had some good time here.

Our food was great.service not so much, we didn't get our drinks ordered until 10 minutes after being seated. It took another 15 to get our food ordered. Our food wasn't brought out by our waitress. Once finished we paid and left our tip. Our waitress Kim then proceeded to count the tip in front of us, then looked at our receipt and pointed at the amount we paid then pointed at the 15% and looked at us and stormed away. No thank you at all, was completely rude about it. Worst experience from a waitress by far! Will not be coming back!

Ms. Christina was a sweetheart. Her service was pleasant. I started with the always good chicken tortilla soup. I ordered the riblets. The BBQ sauce was a good tangy and sweet. The loaded mashed potatoes are always a delight. The restaurant was very clean.

I was simply trying to have a family dinner at applebees. The service was quiet nice I will give it a 5, but the atmosphere and food was a overall a 1.when I return home I feel a striking pain in the stomach and next thing I know i’m throwing up in my bathroom about to go for round 3. This applebees has given me food poisoning in less then a hour, I can not believe this and will not be coming back!

Quite enjoyable and great food! Went here for mother's day and ordered this delicious alcoholic drink that my waitress suggested would be good! Waitress was very nice and friendly! So I do highly suggest to eat here with the friendly service and good food!

Food was great, service was awkward, we only got two menus, forks/knives/napkins kits for three adult customers… did not get refills until it was time to leave. Place was busy when we arrived, about ten tables still had people when we left.

The waitress was lovely, but the host and a myriad of other employees couldn't understand why we didn't want to sit under the open ceiling. Happy mothers day, I guess.

The service was horrible. The waitress, Yvonne, got our order and left the menu with me so I could look over my drink selection, and didn't come back for until the entree was coming out. We also had to ask for our appetizer after they brought the entrees, which was mozzarella sticks. They then said they'd comp the appetizer. Due to my bypass surgery I can't eat very much so we asked for take home containers. We were then told we couldn't take the mozzarella sticks or they would charge us. But we couldn't eat them due to coming after our meals. Then we were told that we couldn't take my Shark Bowl cocktail because it was alcohol. So that was $10 wasted because unable to drink. But she never even considered bringing me a to go cup for my raspberry tea. 2 other waiters who were very nice brought our food. The food was great except the broccoli was under cooked. The price was great. The service sucked! Order for pickup if you go here. We will never again. I really appreciate my boyfriend taking us out for a nice meal which we never get to do because we both work so much. It's a shame that we seemed invisible here. I ordered the 6oz steak w/mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. My love had the 1/2Rack and fries. It was funny he asked to substitute a side salad instead of fries and they said it would be another $2 charge. Really for a couple pieces of lettuce, tomatoes, and croutons! They can keep it.

Food was brought out on a dirty dish. There was also a waiteress with dry blood on her right forearm that no one seemed to notice or care about. Manager was understanding about canceling order and even came to my car as I was leaving and offered to send me a gift card. My waiter was also understanding of the matter.

Appetizer took about 20 minutes after ordering. We got artichoke dip. The dip was barely warm, which was kind of disappointing. I ended up getting fiesta lime chicken, which was good. Chicken was a little too burnt in some spots, but overall good.

This little JOYOUS pit was a stop along our trip and WOW! Again I DO NOT grade an establishment on petty things. I do, however, start grading from the moment I walk in. After being seated, our waitor Chris, came through to take our order's. And no matter how many THANK YOU's we offered, his response was a dull and annoying "Yup. ".
Yet I watched as he responded to another customer's thanks with a YOU'RE WELCOME.
SO APPARENTLY, we Hebrew Israelites or BLACK FOLK aren't welcome at Applebee's.
No worries though, this was my LAST TIME eating here.

I waited 5 minutes sitting at a table. Four employees passed by me within that 5 minutes, not one person said, "I'll be right with you. " See ya!
