Arcaro and Genell, Old Forge, PA

My family and I love this pizza! We took an out of towner on an Old Forge pizza tour and this was his top choice. We miss the restaurant dining, but are grateful for the take away.

Lisa was a dream to work with for our work Christmas Party! The food was great, the bartenders and servers friendly, and the banquet room was decorated beautifully - lived that there were tables for photo props including a small standing height table which was perfect for me checking people in as they arrived! Thank you!

I ordered online, but mistyped my phone number. They had a question about my order, but couldn't get in touch with me so they didn't start making it until I showed up to pick it up. I showed up about 20 minutes earlier than what they estimated, and they still got the order done before the time that they had promised. Food was great. I think they should open up the dining room for dine in again.

Arcaro and Genell is consistently an excellent choice for your event. A family favorite for decades!

I've had some delicious meals here but something has changed or they were having a bad night. Portabela mushrooms was one giant mushroom and I couldn't taste any crabmeat and it was far from delicious. The garlic knots were stale and burnt. $20 in the trash and went to a different local restaurant.

Its a different type of pizza like elios on crack lots of places to go

We've gone here a couple times before.and the pizza was always great. I mean great! Yesterday it was good.they must have been having an off day, as we all do.and the pizza was still very good! I highly recommend them for Old forge pizza

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly. I ordered a pepperoni pizza. The crust is a nice Sicilian style with a small bit of crisp on the bottom. I just couldn't taste the sauce. In my opinion, too much cheese overpowered it. So a nice pizza. On a scale from 0-10, I would rate this 7.8.

Had some red pizza with anchovies, and a few slices of white. I keep meaning to try other pizza places in Old forge, but I keep going back to Arcaro and Genell. We can't get enough. The cannoli was great too. They fill them to order.

I was in the mood for pizza and stopped in this restaurant. I called in my order and got the plain slices. When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked in and told the lady my name. I then paid and left. When I dug in the pizza was ok. I definitely had to add pepper. All in all I had an ok experience!

The stuffed white is epic. On par red trays. Good appetizers. Fun vibes. The issue was with the service - she never asked if we wanted more drinks- which we DID BECAUSE! We are pretty sure she either forgot to put in our pizza order or forgot we were in her section or something
We literally sat for 45 minutes and FINALLY flagged her down, and got more drinks and she had a panicked look on her face when we told her that multiple tables around us that came in after us and scrambled to say “oh yea I am so ssorry about that•I will go check” and then it STILL took 20 minutes. It was pretty busy, but idk, I’ve been a server and made a gaffe like that- she coulda told her manager she f’d up and to comp our drinks or something. Overall we waited OVER AN HOUR after being seated. It happens, but she did nothing to accommodate the mistake. Food was really good and fun atmosphere but lol, kinda long to wait!

Closed for dining. We were told about this magical place to get pizza in Old Forge, PA. After a vacation in a neighboring community we decided to make the trip over to Arcaro and Gemelli. I was very disappointed to see that this restaurant seems to be hanging on to old COVID protocols or is it laziness or nobody wants to work (they don't pay a living wage?) Whatever it is they've seemingly permanently closed their dining room. We ended up going to a different Italian restaurant in the area because I wasn't going to have my family sit in the car to eat. The food was acceptable but I'm not sure that Old Forge pizza lives up to the hype. My advice is to skip this town all together, it's not worth it.

I grew up in Old Forge, I haven't had Arcaro and Genells in at least 15 years. However, it used to be one of my mother and I's favorites. I called "Take Away" and ordered a cheese steak hoagie and tray of red. I'm very plain so I eat my S&C literally just steak and extra cheese, so I REALLY taste the meat. The meat was very bland, as if no seasonings were used at all. Otherwise, it was your average S&C hoagie. I was pretty disappointed with the pizza, barely any cheese and again very plain. This is not at all how I remember Arcaro and Genells. Maybe just a bad day?
