Absolutely horrible! I took my young daughter, who is a Type 1 Diabetic, for a routine eye exam. “Dr. ” Major legitimately told me Type 1 Diabetes can be CURED with hempseed oil, olive leaf extract () I even clarified she didn’t mean type II diabetics could be treated with diet, but she did. When I told her she was incorrect and placing people in harm’s way and asked for her sources she just handed be a bent piece of paper with a typed list of herbs/spices/etc.that anyone could have just typed up. I asked for sources again and she said “oh, you know, (insert name) with the podcast” and gave me a business card sized cut piece of regular computer paper with rainbow chakras a name and “Reiki Specialist. ” I was appalled that a so called professional is giving out false, and very dangerous, medical information from some random massage therapist! I just looked at her like “you can’t be serious. ” Terrible. 1 star. Would not recommend.

I am so blown away by how amazing this place is! The staff are so welcoming and kind and the doctor definitely knows what she’s doing and genuinely cares about her work and her patients. Not just an amazing business but also some of the nicest people I’ve ever met!

I love Eye Innovations and it's staff. They are professional and very friendly. Dr. Major is not only concern about people eyes, she is also concerned about their overall health. She always gives brilliant suggestions that leads to better health and eye health. I love it there!

Dr. Major is a very thorough Optometrist. You can always expect her to give attention to details by providing you with information to improve your health through your eye exam.

I am sooo happy that I found Dr. Major! Words cannot adequately express my gratitude. I live in Chesapeake Virginia but I will travel to PA again and again to see her, what a treasure I have found! I contacted Eye Innovations for my medically needed contacts for Kerataconus. They used my medical card for the visit and I paid a $15 copay. They later called me that week to tell my that the claim that was filed with Humana was denied. I called to ask why they weren’t told that a prior authorization was needed. When telling the doctor this she said that in order to send the prior authorization she would have to have full payment of the contacts up front because the insurance may not cover the full cost. After two more months of suffering from headaches and saving up to afford the cost I called and paid of the contracts with the promise that I would be reimbursed. Upon going to pick up the contacts I was told the claim was denied and I should contact my insurance for the refund. The doctor flipped through pages of documents swiftly in front of me and told me that the insurance company did not need any further information. I have called Eye Med numerous times and specialists have told the doctor what was needed but she refuses to comply. She has repeatedly hung up on them and continues to deny the fact that she did anything wrong. Don’t trust this person, she is a disappointment to the medical profession. In addition this thief will smile in your face and steal your money in the process.

I needed an emergency appointment and received one quickly. Eyes are healing and feeling better.
