This practice really blew me away. Not only did they get me in as a new patient with an issue within 24 hours, but they were all so friendly & efficient in the office. The receptionists were pleasant (especially Beth) & the technicians really knew what they were doing as well. Clean office, short wait times & the doctor I saw was so sweet. I highly recommend this practice.

Beth makes my day so much better when I come in or when she’s on the phone. She’s always so happy, nice and caring. Dr. Hosey has also been great and listened to all my concerns.

My husband was seen here and very disappointed- staff were rude and unprofessional and he left without a clear explanation of what was wrong with his eye. Won’t be coming here again.

I go to armisto eye associates for my diabetes eye checkup once a year everyone is always very pleasant and the office is clean

The medical staff themselves are extremely good: if this review was strictly on quality of care it would easily be five stars.i have never seen an office worse at communicating than this one.critical details concerning appointments go completely unmentioned.contacts ordered then when you go to pick them up they're missing.i don't think they know how to use phones.that's not a joke, i genuinely think at least some of them have trouble with the concept of leaving messages.it's miserable to deal with their incompetence.so despite the high quality of care i can't say i would ever recommend this practice to anyone, which is a shame.

My experience from start to finish was excellent. I’ve been wearing eyeglasses since I was 8 and in those 20+ years I have never had a more flawless experience than at Armesto Eye Associates. Setting up the appointment was a breeze, clear instructions were given of what was needed from me, and everyone in the office just makes you family! They even gave me a sweet reminder call about my appointment! Would not recommend anywhere else for your eye care needs. This place is AMAZING!

My results after surgery are incredible…. 20/20 vision for the first time in a very long time.

Don't ask people if they got the vaccine. It was never a requirement before and it's not on the new patient packet. I noticed I was asked twice and then refused services I said I'd gladly pay for.

Dr ARMESTO gave us the absolute worst eye appointment experience we have ever had. I am still in shock at the arrogance this doctor displayed. I took my mother in for her second appointment as she was on the road to having a total of five visits to eventually remove cataracts.we had to wait one whole month after our first appointment so who knows how long this whole process would have taken in total and NOW we must start all over from square one, simply because this doctor made us lose all trust in him just after meeting him for ten minutes. He looked at her eyes after the initial woman before him basically did all the work and just said “so yeah you’re gonna need surgery to correct this etc etc” my mom was happy to hear we were one step closer to achieving this. Then out of no where this EYE DOCTOR has the audacity to question whether or not my mom has gotten the Covid vaccine. First of all that’s non of his business and that is completely between her and her primary care doctor. My mom asked if it was required to have the vaccine to get the surgery and he said no. Then he proceeded to condescendingly talk to her about how she should get it and he said, I quote, “don’t you want to save your family and the people around you”

Buddy.if you want to preach, do it on your own time.when she gave him honest and soft spoken answers to his every question, he kept combatting her without any hesitation, and with complete disrespect as if she were stupid in some way or her beliefs didn’t matter.he was rude in a way that I’ve never witnessed a health professional be. I let this little conversation go on between them for a few minutes until I finally told her to get up and let’s go we are leaving. I couldn’t bare to see my mother get talked to like that for another second.it was crazy. I seriously felt like I was in the twilight zone witnessing this happen. The tone he took with her was out of line, unprofessional, and he had NO RIGHT interrogating her about her other health choices. I really couldn’t believe what I just witnessed. To whoever manages this man.tell him to stick to his job because that’s what he’s getting paid to do and when he turns it into a debate over Covid vaccines.that’s just ridiculous. We would have happily left if he just told us “no vaccine, no service” but he didn’t.he said no vaccine is required and then kept on telling my mom in the most condescending way that she should get it

Wow. And that’s what I will remember anytime someone asks me about a good eye doctor I will tell them to steer clear of this arrogant person who was just smart enough to receive the degree and just skilled enough to practice this medical art.but also too stupid to acquire any form of bedside manner. Skill and Intelligence are valued but I’ll search forever for the person who has the whole package. You my friend are lacking.

I was extremely nervous about having cataract surgery but Dr. Armesto and his wonderful staff gave me so much confidence and made the experience so pleasant. Everything is laid out so that the instructions are easy to follow and the recovery was a breeze. I am so pleased with the results and am looking forward to getting my 2nd surgery as the results of my 1st surgery is truly amazing. My thanks to Armesto Eye Associates!

Dr. Ernesto was very ignorant towards my mother in law at her recent visit. He questioned whether or not my mother in law would be receiving the COVID vaccine, why she didn’t yet just drilling her like a drill seargent. My wife and her mother left and my mother in law started crying over the situation. She has cataracts and was supposed to be helped, but instead was asked “don’t you want to save those around you” what a psycho. He had such a lack of professionalism about him. He is definitely in need of interpersonal skills training.

I have been a patient of Armesto Eye Associates for 20 years plus. Obviously they are doing something right. The doctors I have dealt with are super skilled & knowledgeable at what they do. The doctor I have seen for those years is Dr. Marianne Hosey. I look forward to my appointments with her not just for her expertise but also the great conversations we have (whole she’s working). Recently I had cataract surgery by Dr. Armesto & his years of experience showed in performing this surgery. He was very thorough & caring. The office staff is wonderful & so friendly. It’s great to see the same familiar faces over the years since I have been a patient in this practice. Terri Milakovic, the surgical counselor, did an awesome job in helping me through the cataract experience. Her years of experience show in her knowledge of the procedure & makes you feel totally at ease. She is so personable & friendly. Highly recommend this Opthalmology practice.

I love this office! They are absolutely the best in their profession. Dr. MaryAnn Hosey is very knowledgeable and has worked with me for years to make sure that I am comfortable in my contacts. The office staff is all so friendly, as well. I’ve never seen Terri without a smile on her face!

Been coming to Dr. Armesto for over 10 years! I’ve had several successful procedures and have recommended him to many of my friends and family. One recently completed a cornea transplant and we could not be more pleased with the care and professionalism of the staff and facilities.thank you Terri for communication and support!

I have been a patient here for many years. The tech and office staff here are absolutely excellent! I was treated for Keratoconus by Dr. Mary Ann Hosey and Dr. David Armesto and thanks to this entire group I now have my sight restored. I cannot say enough about this entire practice and what they have done for me. I highly recommend them.

Lots and lots of waiting here and there for various reasons.that being said, staff very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful.

My daughter has been going to Dr. Armesto since she was 4 or 5yrs.old? It's been many years & now my daughter is soon to be 21yrs.old and we STILL AND WILL FOREVER BE A PATIENT OF ARMESTO EYE ASSOCIATE Dr. Armesto & his WONDERFUL staff has watched her grow up and is now in college HE is THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO US! Doctor Armesto was very nice. The front desk ladies were very nice. The nurse who took us back by the name of Jo or JoJo.she was mean, impatient and down right rude. We are all navigating this mask and glove thing for the first time. I understand that kind of change can be stressful for their office, I'm in the medical field, I get it. She however snapped off at us and was very rude several times to us. Your staff is what makes the office visit nice, and today we left irritated and frustrated.

Armesto is located in the same building as my son's pediatrician of 12 years and counting, off the Technology Parkway in Mechanicsburg. I ended up here after repeatedly failing to successfully schedule for my annual eye exam at a nation optical retail store. Now there are a number of ophthalmologists and eye surgeons, but there's just one optometrist, Dr. Match. He's only available on Tuesdays so you do need to take time off from work to make the appointment, but it's worth it. Dr. Match is personable and very thorough. After my first visit, I recommended that my son also have his eyes checked and he like him, too. The assistant, Barb, may seem loud at first, but she's actually friendly and well meaning.

The facility is pleasant and clean. Both receptionists greeted me with smiles and tried to be helpful during check-in and check-out. I did have to wait 20-30 minutes before I got examined, but that's within my tolerance. I've been coming here for 2 years and I don't see any reason for me to not continue.

NVA vision insurance plan is accepted. They have their own optical shop directly up the stairs, thus providing full services for your eyes. BTW, that's also where you'd pick up your printed prescription.
