I worked here for a little over a month as a director. Found out my mother had brain cancer and let Dan the director know. The following day right before Christmas and not knowing if my mother was dying or not Dan and Becky called me and let me go due to future occurrences. I’d give this place a 0 if I could. Dan and Becky could care less about anybody. They are only worried about there success. And a side note I didn’t have to miss work for my mother. Artis is a joke Dan just puts on a show to impress family’s to make deadlines but could care less about your family.

Best staff ever for memory care! We love everyone you meet at Artis! Shout out to Debbie! Our main connection who will always focus on your loved one! Thank you Dan, Beth, Liz, Steve, Keith and Leland and Valerie! Majorie and Erica we love your ability to love my mom! You guys are 5 star!

Visiting a friend. Noticed very friendly and attentive. Caregivers. Beautician was lovely, did a great job. Caregivers seem to treat all residents with kindness.

We looked at several places before we decided that Artis was the best place to be. I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is and how amazing all the people are there it's hard enough to place someone away from home but they have made everything so much easier. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Special kudos to Debbie L. She is amazing, so kind and caring. I am not sure I would have placed my husband there if it were not for her warm welcoming kindness when I first visited. She is the best first face ARTIS Southhills could have. She is one of the many treasures that work at ARTIS Southhills.

For nearly two years, I've had the privilege of being a part of the Artis Senior Living of South Hills family. Let me tell you, this team is unlike any other I've encountered in my seventeen years in the industry. Our Executive Director serves as a beacon of inspiration, leading with unwavering integrity and setting the bar high for all of us. He leads by example every day, and the team wholeheartedly embraces the essence of the Artis Way.

I am presently working in the culinary department at artis Senior Living of south hills. The kitchen is set up well to provide quality meals to our neighborhoods. I enjoy the atmosphere in the culinary department. Seeing smiles on residents faces makes me look forward to coming to work each day.

Artis senior living is such an amazing place for your loved one! I am so honored and grateful to work at this amazing facility! Dan, liz and all of the directors are so, so kindhearted and so caring for each of the residents, family members and associates.they really value everyone no matter who they are! I see so much love and thoughtfulness every day that i’ve never seen anywhere else!

I cannot say enough about the care staff, administrators and all those who make Artis the compassionate and caring home for my mom in her struggles with dementia. The facility is clean and well maintained. The caregivers go above and beyond their duties and treat each resident with dignity and respect. The caregivers that stand out to me are Keith, Milton, Lina, Melanie, Judy and Luisa. Keith is a jack of all trades leading sing-a-longs with his musical talents, giving manicures and styling and cutting hair. He also gives the best hugs. My mom has gone back to her native language of Italian and has a difficult time communicating and being understood, but each one of these caregivers and others make it their mission to get her whatever she requires. My husband and I became part of and were welcomed into the Artis community 2 years prior to my mom becoming a resident through the support group. The administrators are very hands on with the residents and family members knowing us by name and making sure we are taken care of as well. I would recommend them highly and give them 5+ stars.

Artis is such a welcoming place. The director of nursing, Beth, is very caring and compassionate about her patients. Love it there!

In my profession I visit many people in multiple different assisted living communities. Artis of South Hills is a favorite. The staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. It really seems like a family. The staff there really care about the residents and you will feel it when you walk into the place. All the staff I have met seem wonderful but especially The director of Nursing Beth and Dementia specialist Liz who are so helpful and communicative. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone.
