Artisan Boulanger Patissier reviews
15Came here on a whim for some baked goods but the real star here is the pork belly banh mi. WOW. Dare i say the best one I've ever had. Bread was the perfect combo of crusty but fluffy interior and that pork belly was out of this world. Amazing! The staff working the counter were very friendly as well.
Have to say, this has absolutely been my new have to go morning spot for the weekends,
Coffee is crazy strong.the way I want and need it to be, their bacon egg cheese on crosaint is, and the morning pastries and treats are so friggin yummy. Place has everything you need for your morning.
Chocolate almond croissant and berries & cream croissant were amazing, and the Vietnamese iced coffee was great too! Staff were very nice. Looking forward to trying more of their pastries and sandwiches! Note that it's cash only.
Everything is so good. Best almond croissants I’ve ever had. The egg & cheese on croissant also delish. Have also tried the fruit tarts, the cronut and many other items and love them all. The people who work there are also very nice! A must try!
Croissants and cappuccino are alright but nothing special. I had higher expectations based on all reviews.
The plain croissant is proof in the pudding, perfectly executed. Everything else proceeds from that strong foundation. They even ask how well done (Bien cuit) you like your baguettes, another mark of a good bakery. Real heads know.
This place is fantastic for egg bacon cheese croissant sandwiches, and their selection of pastries is also top-notch. Unfortunately, I can only give it two stars due to the service provided by the female boss. It's puzzling because my sister and I have been loyal customers since they were located at 12th & Morris.
We hold fond memories of the late Andre, who consistently treated us with warmth and friendliness. Consequently, it remains perplexing as to why we were treated disparately compared to the white customers. Given our shared identity as Asian-American women, we were genuinely eager to support this establishment, even contributing to their GoFundMe campaign during their hardship in October 2021. Yet, each encounter with the female owner left us feeling unwelcome, as if our patronage was undervalued. Sad!
Unbeatable croissants and baked goods. I’ve tried to find better in Philly and can’t lol Make sure you have cash though.
This is the go to spot for great bakery goods. The STAR of the show are the breakfast sandwiches and "banh mi" options. For breakfast, the croissant, egg and bacon is out of this world. For lunch, the tofu banh mi was so savory and so nice with the fresh veggies on a chewy and crunchy baguette roll. Little seating outside on a small street. Parking is tricky so we parked a little further out and walked over.
Best croissants in Philadelphia. Incredible other danish and buns.
Incredible French baguettes.
This place is AMAZING. I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered from here. I've tried the blueberry croissants, some of their breakfast sandwiches, and the Vietnamese coffee and they are all delicious! The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and super helpful. We moved out of the city a few months ago but I always make sure to stop by this place when we are back in the area. Definitely check this place out!
Probably the best crossiants in the city but the beinets are stoggy. Baguettes don't look authentic but are probably good for banh mi.
I tried a croissant, apple turnover, madelines and beignet. The beignet is too dense and filled from the bottom but the custard is really good.
The medeleines are nice, good texture, slightly spongy.
The apple turnover was simply delicious.
The croissant took me by surprise, lots of layers, amazing texture and simply delicious, these just brought me back home. So far my favorite in philadelphia.
Ordered the cronut, apple turnover, berry croissant, donut, and madelines. Everything was delicious, crunchy, and super fresh. We didn't eat the berry croissant until the next morning, and it was as good as what you would typically get from lesser bakeries fresh. It's a bit out of the way, and parking is hit-or-miss, but totally worth the price. Also, bring cash or a debit card (there is an ATM in the bakery), since they don't take credit.
