Asia on the Parkway reviews
16 Overall:
The food is all cooked well, but everything is so very bland. We had to use soy sauce for salt because they used nothing for seasoning. (We're at a hotel, no salt here, sadly.)
Dishes:
The "panang" curry was just fixings for fajitas, with someone splashing watered down green curry paste on it.
I've had better seaweed salad from Costco.
The kalamari meat is tender but the breading is under cooked.
Good food.nice portions.they took great care to deal with our special order and did it correctly!
Great restaurant! Owner is a nice man but his wife needs to be more friendly and polite to customers.
Pretty quick service for a weekday lunch. The shrimp with hot peppers was tasty and had a pleasant burn.
There was some hesitation about my service dog, but it wasn't a major fight and the food was very very good. Service was also good and fast.
Worst Chilean Sea Bass in my life. The crab Rangoons also left a lot to desire. The asparagus served with the bass was ice cold.
Wrong plate came out, ordered tofu and mushrooms, got steak and mushrooms.
Shiitakes tasted awful! Texture was really bad to. And i normally really like mushrooms. Besides that, California roll, steak, and sauce on my dish were all good.
This used to be my go-to because of how close I live. I’ve bought many meals here.
The quality has gone down SO MUCH recently. I’m not going to come back until it gets better.
Got seated right away on a Saturday night. Had super quick service, was in and out in 30 minutes in time to catch our train! Great variety on the menu and friendly staff.
Love, love, loveeee their shrimp fried rice spicy or regular fried rice and they're always nice when i come into the resturant.
Typical Chinese menu plus sushi. My wife loved the snapper. I had pork fried rice, which was standard but good. Good place to go if you are at the Franklin Institute or Academy of Natural Sciences.
Food was frankly very disappointing. We got two of their Thai Currys and they were pretty iffy. The curry was really really bland and the chicken inside was almost slimy. Considering the price, we were expecting more. Surprised a downtown place like this would be so inferior to the average Asian restaurant, at least as far as Thai dishes go. Fortune cookies were chocolate flavored though, so that was fun
Great food and service! Had the pepper steak. Peppers and onions were fresh and cooked perfectly. Good portion of food. Will definitely be back!
Amazing food and service, we ate here 2x during our trip to Philly and it was delicious every time. I tried the Thai Fried rice and it was the best I ever had.
Oh my.thee worst Asian food I ever had! My local hole in the wall Chinese take out does rings around this place. I got Happy Family.not one scallop in there or a bit of lobster.just chicken and 4 tiny shrimp! Not good at all. It's the biggest rip off! Don't go! You're better off going to China Town.to find something better
This place is a rip off.they lure you in with the nice ambiance, however the food being 20 bucks and up a plate is below mediocre. It’s the same quality of food you would get at cheap Chinese buffet. This place is definitely for torrid who don’t know any better. Save you money and and go somewhere else. Over cooked, flavorless microwaved food is what you will get. You have been warned.
