Asian Food Market BOBAE reviews
17One of the best asian markets I've shopped at. This market has always been the best to me ever since I was a kid. I always go here when I drive through Monroeville. Great selection and very nice cashier!
Adorably quaint little market with a great selection of items. Lots of neat snack foods to try, and the friendliest employee I have ever encountered.
I love this little store! They have items that you can't get at the stores in the strip district and the woman who works there is SUPER nice! It's always a pleasure to shop there.
It's a cute little store with very friendly people. I can find just about anything I need there in a flash and it's always so clean and organized. Its one of my favorite go to markets when I'm in the area.
My daughter loves this little store. It's hidden away in a little shopping center, but it is a hidden gem for Asian snacks. It has a nice selection of various ramen as well. Owner is very nice.
I love this store; it has good selection despite being small. I've gone here for years and the people here are so kind. At the moment they only take cash, but if you forget there's an atm a few stores down.
Friendly staff always, selection has definitely gone down over the years but still a big enough selection to keep you from having to drive into Pittsburgh for Lotus. Always great ice cream, ramune, and ramen selections.
One of my favorite stores EVER! I love the lady who rings me up every time I'm there- sweetest person in the world! Always has the best snacks and a good time!
I was pretty excited to try this place after reading so many positive reviews on here. I was looking for basic sushi ingredients (nori and short-grain rice). The woman working there was very friendly, but the prices were significantly higher than Giant Eagle (same brands, same products) and half of the store is empty and blocked off. The selection is so small and the prices are so high, I truly don't understand all the rave reviews.
The people that think this place has a quality diverse selection has never been to a real Asian market.
Not only is this place extremely small (most of these places are like warehouses), but the items are absurdly expensive, especially when compared to the fantastic markets in Pittsburgh that have tons of things from Vietnam to Taiwan to Japan and more.
This little place literally can't accommodate selection, and since they only had 1/3 of this already tiny store open last time I visited? It's a wonder it's still in business.
Take the time to actually go to Pittsburgh, people.
I have to say this is the best Asian Market in the entire Western part of PA within a few hundred mile radius. That is my personal opinion. There is a lot of variety and something for everyone. I am glad I found this place and plan on returning.
Owner is very rude. She did not great me, and Rudely said “cash only! ”
Prices are marked up and too high in price.
There’s no product or either old product. The kimchi was about 12oz for 12$. Umm no.
The funniest part was when I seen a woman who happened to be white walk in. The lady greeted the customer with such enthusiasm, yet was so rude to me.
Very nice cashier and they have a nice range of products you don't see at a lot of other Asian markets!
I love this shop. If you are an Asian food lover like my family and I. This is the place to get what you need. The prices are very good, and the fresh Ramen noodles they sell are so good. I bought some red-bean paste Mochi, and I was in love. They are very friendly, and it is a very peaceful place to shop. I was finally able to buy fresh made rice cakes, which my girls love. Definitely go check them out.
I love it there and the woman is always so friendly! My stepfather use to go in a lot when he still lived here, he knows korean pretty well and they'd talk! She is the kindest!
Slim pickings for Korean groceries in Pittsburgh, but this place has the essentials. The lady who works cashier is super nice.
