Asian Star Chinese Restaurant, Leetsdale PA

I’d like to start this review with a non-biased opinion. Asian Star serves the mouthwatering, delicious, delectable food products I have ever eaten in my entire life. You may be seeing this and thinking, “There’s no way he’s right. He’s totally biased! ” I understand why you might think that, but there are many different reasons that I will provide as to why Asian Star is the pinnacle of Asian Restaurants. Asian Star’s prices for many different food items are a lot better than their competitors. Asian Star sells their Beef Lo Mein for two different prices. Their small is $7.95, and the large is $11.95. When looking at competitors' menus, they sell theirs for 13.00. One might think that the one priced lower must be worse quality, but that is simply not the case. Asian Star is a highly rated establishment with tons of loyal customers that can’t stop coming back for their tasty sustenance! Other similar restaurants have worse ratings (by stars) and have a lot more customers rating them the bad stars. We interviewed the future shareholder of Asian Star and he had some insightful information to give us. “it’s just better”, says their future company leader. We also went out in the area, and we pulled aside some civilians to question. Upon inquiring about Asian Star, their faces lit up with absolute glee and couldn’t stop raving about how much they were satisfied by the food. Another noteworthy quality of this hidden Pittsburgh gem is the customer service. The employees are very kind, compassionate, and they really care about their customers and the quality of their food. Other similar types of restaurants do not have this inviting factor. At Asian Star, you’re more than just a customer, you’re family. The location of this establishment is another great feature of it. It’s right in the heart of Leetsdale, near the highschool. This makes it a great spot to hit up after school, when you’ve acquired the munchies. All of these phenomenal factors make Asian Star the perfect place to get your food. I just have one more question for you, why don’t you go down to Asian Star?

Come here for take out from time to time. Always have had a good experience. My go-to is their Kung Pao Chicken. The restaurant is run by a kind and hardworking family

Food was ok but the order was wrong. Ordered tofu and got chicken which we do not eat so it was wasted, also didn’t get broccoli with garlic sauce which was ordered. Won’t be going back.

It's okay! Not the best I've been to. Does not have much flavor in their dinners. Very bland.

Rice had a after taste of something burnt.chicken well. Must be a processed chicken or something because every piece was a formal round ball never go there again

My husband got mushroom egg foo young yesterday ate it at 9pm got severe cramps on toilet all night and today up til 3pm thats the only thing he ate yesterday luckily I didn't get anything was so bad he missed golf he never misses his golf.

Employees were pleasant, food was good and prices weren't bad. Could have a better dining area; had messed up seats and dirty tables.

Used to be one of our favorites. Last 2 times we've ordered the food was very bland. Time to find a new Chinese place. We will not be back.

Asian Star knocked it out of the park again! Had cashew chicken and fried dumplings. The best ever!

Very good local Chinese restaurant run by a local family. I've ate here a few times and the quality is always good. The online ordering could use some help because the order I got was wrong because items were combined and I got pork instead of chicken but I'm glad it got messed up because I've never tried the pork with broccoli and it was really good too.

Kung Po Chicken was the best I've ever had. Veggies were crisp and flavorful, especially the mushrooms and onions. The chicken itself had a sweet glaze and was fried crispy. So yummy!

The greatest restaurant in all of Beaver County. Try the Penang Chicken! I seriously drive an hour to come get this food. It is my favorite Chinese/Thai restaurant of all time.

They messed up my order, and I got extremely sick from the food. The lo mein was okay, and the eggrolls were greasy with a blob of unidentifiable veggies inside. The price was all right. I'm from Beaver County and have had much better experiences there. I think I'll try the Chinese place in Sewickley next time because I'm afraid to get sick again.

I take out food here a lot. Always get the Cashew Chicken w/Fried Rice and egg rolls. The food is delicious, I've never had an issue. Friendly family business. I read some of the other reviews that were negative, and the only conclusion I can come to is they are being written by the competition. I never had bad food or problems with the food. You would think that after 3 or 4 years I would have experienced one of these problems if it was true. They got the order wrong only once since I've been going there, and they gave me the correct meal next time I came in at no charge.

If you are going change your menu, you should change on your web site. It s not the best Chinese food. China Palace in sewickley is better.

The food is really bad quality, the chicken IS NOT CHICKEN! They were perfect square pieces with looks like scrambled eggs but really white.

The people who work there are extremely kind and they truly care about and love to cook. It so family owned so you will always be greeted by a kind face. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I am also a super picky eater but that always have something I like. One of the best restaurants ever.
