Prices are cheap initially but gradually increase (still pretty good price). Maintenance never does anything sadly. Neighbors tend to be extremely obnoxious and nothing gets done.

Aspen is by far my favorite community here. Nice big bathroom as well as a walk in closet, with still a very decant sized room. But I personally think what tops it all is I can get my apartment fully furnished free of cost which is so coinvent to me as a college student! As always, very nice community with a very helpful staff in the office and on the maintenance team!

I love living here. The staff are always so kind and understanding. I love being able to use the gym and how close grocery stores and restaurants are. Even my neighbors are nice and not too loud. Highly recommend renting here

Do not live here. The management and maintenance is some of the worst I have ever had to deal with. We have been without wifi for days and they refuse to give a timeline or any update despite many residents in our building making complaints. I am a college student, I need there to be wifi and if there isn't I need to know when I will have it. The maintenance people are 20 somethings who ride around the complex on their golf carts and are often rude and don't take the maintenance requests seriously. Management also doesn't take complaints seriously because when you attempt to elevate a complaint they ignore kt. They consistently have had poor communication throughout my time here. We also have broken furniture in our apartment they tried to cover up and avoid blame for.

Living at Aspen by Traverse commons hasn't been the worst decision I have made. The view from the 3rd floor window is pretty great, the amenities are nice to have, the apartment is spacious. Its nice having a walk in closet and bathroom with every bedroom. The office staff is usually friendly and helpful. The area is generally quiet, with a occasional party, and loud vehicles, no complaints here, what do you expect in off campus student housing. Windows leak causing higher than needed utility bills, I did have maintenence seal the windows but did not work, snow removal is almost nonexistent even though there is snow removal equipment on site. I've come home from work at midnight and had to shovel a parking space out because the parking spaces weren't cleared. The furniture is not of the best quality, the tables wobble, the chairs are not sturdy. The grounds could have better upkeep. PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOGS! Just look over your apartment carefully before moving in.

Nice apartments to live at! Close to campus for college students and comes with so many nice amenities. Definitely check them out!

Aspen community is Amazing, the cleanliness and post Modern apartment for students I’ve come around in Indiana! Highly recommend. The staffs are also very responsive and helpful

Love living here! It’s so beautiful and a great view! Every room has a bathroom and closet which is really nice. Also love that it is furnished. Everyone in the office is super nice when you go in to get a package or if you have any questions they are always there for you.

Great place to live! It’s very affordable, clean and close to IUP’s campus. As a grad student it’s perfect! The facilities are beautiful and the staff is great!

I've lived at aspen for a year now and haven't had any real issues! My neighbors are all respectful so the building is quiet at night especially during the week.central heat and air, i love that all utilities are included (except electric but there's a $25 per person monthly allowance so that helps a little) the best part about living here is definitely the amenities! The pool and 24/7 gym are such rarities, but especially for this area! My only complaints: the bedroom wall shared between you and the next door neighbor's could have better sound proofing but, fortunately for me, i use that room as an office.lastly, having to go to the office to pick up your mail is sorta annoying if you work/have class later than their open hours.but at least your stuff is safe and they'll sign for packages for you if necessary which is helpful.definitely a nice first place for younger people but i've seen families and older folks enjoying life here too:) pet friendly (i spot a cute pup every time i step outside!) which is always a huge plus but it does come with an extra cost.

One of the better spots in Indiana to live. Nice view, awesome amenities. Maintenance work is a lacking but overall nice:)

Aspen by Traverse Commons has been my home for two years now. I’m an international student at IUP. Coming to the U. S, I had doubts if I was going to find a place I can stay just like home and Aspen gave me just that. I fell in love with the community and its scenery. Aspen gave me a sense of belonging and welcomed me with opened arms. The staffs are always there to respond to your demands. My neighbors are very nice and supportive. Aspen and Elm have bus stops all over, the buses come through to take you to campus and around Indiana. There is a mini mall at a walkable distance. Residents get parking spaces. The amenities are excellent for students utilization and relaxation. There are inclusive events for residents throughout the year. Visit the website and apply! Definitely will recommend incoming and current students looking for comfortable, fully furnished and affordable off-campus accommodation.

I love living here! As a college student, I looked at a lot of rentals in the area and Traverse Commons provides the most affordable rent with the best amenities. The office staff is so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend renting from them!

As an International student, I was very skeptical about housing. However, choosing Aspen as my home was indeed a great choice. It's a 15 mins walk from IUP, 5 mins from the drive, and 7 mins from the bus (aspen has quite a lot of bus stops). It's been five months, and so far, it has been a safe and friendly environment. The staff is cooperative and dedicated. The room is quite spacious, with a personal washroom and walk-in closet. It's fully furnished with all the necessary amenities one needs. I have already renewed my lease for next year too. It's very convenient.

I live in the Aspen community, and I absolutely love living here! I am close to everything around me, and the staff in this community works very hard and are almost always available if a problem arises. They are also very welcoming and very kind. My dogs love it here as well. I have no complaints living in this community

We absolutely love our apartment with aspen! You can’t beat the price for the amount of space/extras you get with your apartment itself. The staff is always super nice and answers asap which is super nice to have!
