Was referred to this practice by PCP to see if I needed sinus surgery for chronic sinusitis, and a ENT doctor I saw years previous. They do a quick look up my nose, not even really a scope. Say I don't need surgery and refer me to a plastic surgeon ent, which is fine. They never actually referred me, just gave me a post it with a last name and number. Then billed me like it was a surgery and couldn't fight my healthcare provided. Bill came out to $300 and I would just make payments monthly since it was a small amount. I must have forgot to pay a couple months over and I received one phone call saying I didn't make a payment. Then I was sent to collections. The amount that was owed was $80. They sent me to collections for $80. This is absurd and we see what the practice really cares about. They want your money. They don't care about anything else. I suggest Penn State Hershey, they have been nothing but helpful and hospitable.

After having one of the worst doctor/patient encounters I've ever experienced with ENT surgery group last week, we quickly transferred to AOP. This was for my 5 year old son who needs tubes in his ears. It is night and day, apples and oranges, not even comparable experiences. Dr. Fornadley was kind, patient, caring and just in general a decent human being in dealing with a 5 year old child. He addressed my questions, he made sure my son was comfortable and talked to him with kindness and treated him with a basic level of respect. This is in stark contrast to how Dr Witt treated my child at ENT surgery group. He was rude and impatient, he treated my son like an inconvenience and was even shaming for the entire visit. If you're trying to figure out whether to go to ENT surgery group or AOP, there is no question, AOP is the clear winner in patient care.

I would love to give Dana at the front desk and Alex who did my hearing tests a huge kudos for their professionalism during my visit. However, after being referred to by my family doctor and having ongoing ear issues from an ear infection (since November), I was referred to this office. I had been seen 3x by other physicians prior to my referral. My initial appt in Dec had to be cancelled due to a family emergency, which I understand, but was cancelled the morning of my appointment when I had scheduled off work. I couldn't be rescheduled til after the New Year. Finally got into the appointment and was supposed to meet with the PA and then the Physician to follow. I didn't feel my concerns were addressed by the PA and he said he didn't feel any further treatment was needed. I was even told that there is a difference in my hearing from my affected ear compared to my unaffected ear. I haven't been able to hear more than muffled hearing for almost 2 months, and he said no further treatment other than a warm compress if needed for my jaw clicking. (Which I wasn't even there for that) He even questioned if I even ever had an ear infection at all. That upset me. I was referred to by my family doctor. After paying the $50 copay that I did, and having my concerns dismissed, then being told I didn't need to see the doctor at all. I have lost faith in specialists and healthcare. This is the second time I've scheduled off work. I worked in healthcare for 11.5 years- and I have never felt more overlooked as a patient.

Dr. French was very nice, but I had some issues with his administrative staff.
After a few visits and various medications for nasal polyps, I was prescribed Dupixent. I asked them to send the prescription to the VA pharmacy. They sent it to the wrong pharmacy. Easy mistake, no big deal. I let them know and they sent in to the correct pharmacy. I called the pharmacy to check the status, they said they needed more info and had contacted AOP to ask a couple of questions but had not received a reply. I called AOP. They said they had replied and the pharmacy must have made a mistake, but they will contact them again today with the missing info. I called the pharmacy a week later, they said they hadn’t heard from the doctor’s office. This went on for a while. I couldn’t figure out who was at fault, but I gave up and decided to go through my private insurance. AOP said they have a rep who would take care of all the paperwork, all I had to do was register on the pharmaceutical company’s website. I received a lot more calls from AOP, asking for various bits of insurance information, sometimes asking for the same info on different calls.
Eventually, the rep called me and told me to give up on trying to get it approved, and that I should call the VA and schedule an appointment with one of their doctors. I gave up.
Two months later, I received a call from my insurance. They asked why the process had stalled. I told them what I had gone through. They said there was no reason to give up, and I should call the pharmaceutical company. I called, they said they were simply waiting for the dosage information from AOP. They said they had contacted them three times but had not received a response.
I never got my medicine. I have two types of insurance, both of whom were willing to provide it, but couldn’t because they were unable to get simple questions answered from my doctor.

I wouldn't have the hearing I have now if it wasn't for Dr issacson. Dr manning in hanove r made a terrible mistake he jammed adult tubes in my ears as an infant because the baby ones were falling out, a pediatrician innocently went to look in my ears and the eartube got stuck on the thing they look in ears with in right ear it pulled eartube and part of eardrum out, which is every parents worst nightmare because on top of having a hard time feeding me with my cleft palate she had a hard time feeding me because I was in pain. Both ears had extensive damage, and I had a rough time in school because I couldn't hear and kids weren't patient and would say nevermind or I'm not talking to you you won't hear me anyways. Dr issacson performed multiple surgeries to fix the extremely large holes caused by the mistake and clustiotoma cysts that showed up and made a bone in a lab to replace the bone that was eroded from the cysts. If it wasn't for him I would still be in rough shape, and he was the only one I could say didn't seem frightened by the mistakes he was seeing or by all the work that would be required.

This practice has been amazing at treating my allergy issues. I struggled for years with recurring sinus and ear infections and I don’t anymore, due to this practice treating my allergies. I feel better than I have in years.

If i could leave 0 stars, i would.the
doctors give tests/exams that do not benefit patients whatsoever, charging hundreds of unnecessary dollars, for their own personal gain.every staff member was rude.not a single doctor listened to me while explaining my symptoms and i walked out with no help regarding my visit.i only left with hundreds of dollars in bills i shouldn’t be paying.

They charged me with services they told me were included in my $50 original appointment fee. They are extremely unhelpful and would not recommend

Disappointed. The doctor had a family emergency and cancelled the appointment. There is no one who can accommodate my child as their schedules are full. Now I have to wait on their mercy for next 6 weeks or so for my daughter to get another appointment and my child is in pain every day because of her sinus infections. The nurse at the front desk was so incompetent. She was reading someone else’s file and telling me about an MRI which I had no idea about. Completely disappointed with this hospital

Being charged for procedures that I paid for twice! Not happy with the secretarial work that’s being done at that place! People should go over their paperwork like I didn’t find out!

Dr. Ruggiero and his assistant Breana are so kind and efficient! I had the most amazing patient experience from them both!

I would give zero stars if aloud.
I wait 2 weeks for a call to schedule my child. No call, so I call to schedule. I’m told referral not in system. Ok that happens no big deal let’s schedule her now and I’ll have dr refax the referral. They start entering my child’s information to schedule and I provided the health insurance ID # etc. I’m told her insurance is inactive we can not schedule her. I spell out my daughters name and regive numbers to verify and still was told inactive. I call my health insurance as advised to check coverage (even though I pay for coverage I know we have it). The health insurance company calls the office giving all information and verifies coverage and they still would not schedule my child. I was told we can’t verify on our end not scheduling and hung up on me. Very unprofessional. My child is sick and needs to be seen obviously why a referral was sent. I then called a different ENT and they scheduled her verified insurance no problem.

My adult daughter had a tonsillectomy performed by Dr. Levin in December 2022. Dr. Levin was very friendly and open when answering questions before and after the procedure. I felt comforted by his bedside manner and he did a good job with the surgery if the positive results are an indicator to go by. She is fully recovered now. I would recommend him and this practice. Every staff member we’ve spoken to or encountered has been wonderful.
