13A Beautiful Roman Catholic church located on the steps of the North Hills. As with all of Pghs many beautiful churches, this is a must see.
If you miss the smells and bells, come visit Assumption church in Bellevue Pa. We have a vibrant Catholic Church many activities for all age groups. Good Holy young priest that love Jesus and care for the ppl
I absolutely love this parish! So beautiful, and the priests are constantly giving of themselves to serve the parishioners.a great community to be a part of!
Wonderful Church, beautiful stained glass windows.
Parking can be found in front or at the school lot behind the church.
Tabernacle is where it should be; centered behind the altar.
No A/C, they have ceiling fans.
Reminds me of some churches in Europe.
This is one of the most beautiful churches in Pittsburgh! With music to match it! Our organist is truly an artist. And our priests at this time lead very prayerful liturgies with meaningful homilies that actually teach the people solid theology!
I was there for the Lenten fish fry, and the food was heavenly! Wonderful taste and selection, and the quick serving of the food was outstanding! Wish that they could do a monthly community fish fry for the Bellevue/Ross/Avalon/West View area parishioners to raise the sense of community that the Church has thrown out in the trash to the detriment of the faithful.
We were in Bellevue for lunch at the awaesome greek place Evias. Saw the Church spires feom where we parked. Went inside and what a pleasant surprise, felt like we were transported to Europe. Very peaceful, people we encountered were friendly, this Church is well maintained and we will be back for mass one day.
If you are in the North Hills, this place is worth a visit for sure.
Every one is very nice and makes you feel welcome. Church service is always uplifting. The homily is focused on what the reading are about for the day.
If you are looking for a parish with an amazingly helpful, pleasant, and welcoming secretary, look no further!
Very beautiful church, with nice mass services available throughout the week. And the fish fry is delicious!
Attended a beautiful service on All Souls Day honoring those who passed away this past year. My father was one of those who passed.
The most beautiful church in Pittsburgh, and a friendly community that is passionate about loving God and others! This place is filled with the best people you will meet! The secretary of the parish, Mary, has made my day better every time I've talked to her!
Assumption Church is a true treasure in Pittsburgh! The priests are amazing! The interior is breathtaking! The organ is music to your ears! If you are looking for a parish to call home, please come and visit! The parish secretary, Mary, is the kindest, most welcoming person you will meet!
