Aston Glen Apartments

I’ve been here for quite some time. I’ve also written many reviews about my experience here. The previous management was absolutely beyond horrendous. Currently management seems much better organized… at getting money out your pocket. I was having major issues with my apartment since moving in four years ago. Ex: my bathtub is covered in some weird paint that is constantly chipping & is very hard to clean because it doesn’t belong. Which, of course messes with the functionality of the tub itself. I gave a very lengthy repair list (including mold issues) & was told it was a matter of renovation. I was offered a different apartment, in which I passed. Long story short it’s been more than a hassle trying to get out of here. (Yay, great economy.) And I will say although taken to court & asked for $4K a month as holdover tenants at least they were understanding to a certain point… I suppose. 4K is insane & literally statistically impossible for most Americans.
Lastly, I would like to mention… living here has been a nightmare. I literally feel like instead of having a place to consider home, it feels more like having five roommates. I’m 28. No body got time for that. Been there, done that. I wouldn't feel comfortable starting a family here. Which I saw a beautiful family move in & right back out. I mirror that sentiment as well. You will have five very present neighbors if you’re getting a one bedroom apartment. There is next to no privacy. So, if having a cozy home experience is what you’re hoping for … this is not it. The best thing this apartment complex did was introduce me to a new lovely area. In which I would employee others to KEEP a lovely nice area. I had a tenant argue with my partner over a parking spot. Funny enough the other side of this complex seems to be in much better shape. But, this side & even the apartment complex right before this one (not across the street) not good news. The type of tenants definitely add to the displeasuring experience that is this general area.
I’ll throw a bone & say perhaps with new management & so on things will get better for those locked in here. Best wishes!

If you live on the second floor, Don't use the deck.
They are Unsafe. Yes they are new but they didn't attach the legs correctly.
And in this area right outside of someone's door, that's a 6ft drop that was worked on months ago and still unfinished, very unsafe.
Where is the county inspector for these appointments?
Someone is going to get seriously hurt if this isn't fixed or temporarily blocked. Til it's fixed correctly.

My fiance and I have lived here since 2017 and now are looking for an apartment/townhouse or house in the Upper Chichester area, with at least one bedroom and one bathroom. However, they gave us a letter saying that they are going to be remodeling the kitchen and bathroom so they cannot offer to renew our lease. We have until the end of May to figure out what we are going to do and that's when we are getting married as well. So stressful and horrible.

Do not rent here! They are writing their own positive reviews ive been in aston glen formerly HIDDEN VALLEY APTS for 3 years the last 2 years has been water issues DEAD OF WINTER AND NO HOT WATER! MAINTENANCE SOLUTION KEEP RUNNING THE WATER FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME YET THEY RAISED RENT Threw away our brand new $600 ac unit, no credit nor compensation, floor gaps flooring not wall to wall in bedrooms, holes in wall from the install of the ac/heating units kitchen counter not cut right we were promised upon moving in these issues would be fixed only thing new in the apartment is appliances that came in after first year
. 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT WITH 3 AIR CONDITIONER UNITS TRIPLED OUR ENERGY BiLL AND WE ONLY RUN 1. BALCONY IS NOT SECURE bathroom out dated NOT ENOUGH PARKING DO NOT RENT THROUGH BERGER SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND LOOK INTO OWNING trust me!

I just moved here in January 2022. They said my apartment was brand new and we would be the first tenants but that’s was a lie. I’ve already experienced roaches in the kitchen, the bathtub seal keeps coming off, the levels of the floor is off, my sliding door doesn’t slide. I can continue.

State inspection just a few minutes ago and my apartment failed, i wouldn’t be surprised if they get paid to say it passed

Its gotten much more pleasant here since new management company has taken over. Appreciating the upgrades. The new maintenance team is amazing!
The walls are a bit on the thin side though.

Three-room and two-room apartment with air heating and air conditioning are good for living

Nice place to live. Stephen Dipasqua is an awesome landlord, the maintenance man Chris handles all issues, comes quick, fixed quick. Grounds kept nice. Never any trash laying around. Love it here

If there were a rating of less than a 1, I would leave it. This place is a dump. The maintenance people, are great (Jason especially). You can tell they are doing the best they can with the little resources they are provided. The majority of the problem is who is allowed to live here. There must be no background checks. I mean this place will rent to anyone, which ruins the daily life of those who truly work for what they have and keep their places clean and homely. If you are stuck between this place and spending an extra $100 a month else where, pay the extra $100 a month.

Daughter and room mates have apartment here. Roof leaking so bad in one bedroom the girls have a bucket in there to catch the water. Smells like mildew the maintenance/management "fixed roof" 1st time. To the untrained eye looks like it however all they did was respackle, smooth, and paint over wetspot in roof. Laminate floor installed improperly and is buckling in multiple spots. Cabinets are falling apart. Door knob on external door to the two apartments not even on. And rent through the roof. Last resort call HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO GET REPAIRS DONE. This place takes advantage of people and does nothing to help.
