Atlantic Tactical - Philadelphia, PA

It was my first time dealing with AT for the purchase of a firearm and I was pleased with the transaction and the staff was a pleasure to deal with.

Atlantic Tactical has always gave me excellent customer service and availability on items that I need. I can’t thank the staff enough for the continuous excellent service, I will always shop here and continue to recommend my friends here! Thank you again to the Staff of Atlantic Tactical!

Not sure what is going on here, but this place is definitely not the same as it was 2 years ago. After being greeted, there was no more assistance offered even after asking two different clerks for help. Both of the clerks pointed to an area and said, "check over there. " Never found what I was looking for, luckily a third clerk who was ending their employment, gave assistance and got me squared away. The place looked extremely disorganized.

BEWARE: Great store to purchase something in stock but NOT a special order item. I’ve got an order “Pre-Covid” that is still pending. I got sized for a ballistic vest, added holster and mag pouches, and custom name tapes for vest. Total was $1,256.88. Agency in DC provided CC # for payment and the order was never processed from a Sale Quote to Sales Order. I followed up two times and finally a manager on the phone to fix the issue. Late June 2019 got fitted; finally order processed 10/23/2019. Agency was billed and processed payment - it was pending being received by Atlantic Tactical. I have now called and spoke with somebody about every month, if not every other month, and three times got the manager at the Philadelphia store. Each time, they acknowledged the problem of the order not being fulfilled and always cite they will call back. They NEVER follow up! Now with COVID, each time you call you end up the 19th person in line and it takes 45-60 mins to get somebody on the phone. Twice I’ve left a message for the call back and both times I was never called.

Please at any time - Atlantic Tactical, check SO-10453314, ordered June 2019 but not truly processed until 10/23/2019. Where is the stuff that my agency paid? You have my number. I’ll fix this review and update it once you fix this situation. You have uncle Sam’s money - you should be providing a product.

UPDATE: Don't bother. This place is a trainwreck. They will happily take orders and never contact you back. None of the firearms they have listed on their website are in stock. Its months before any of them MAY arrive. Phone support (which is rough to get a hold of) promised me a call back the same day, didn't bother. The operator didn't believe me when i told her that i was suppose to receive a call back the same day.it actually turned out to be the same operator! The $100-150 or so you may save by purchasing a firearm (blue label pricing) is not worth the time or hassle in dealing with him.

I'm dumbfounded by the positive reviews. Phone system is non-existent. NOBODY picks up. NOBODY responds to emails. They never call back. Email sent 2+ weeks ago, no response. This happens each time i have ever placed an order. They simply never respond and nobody answers the phone.

In store is good, but trying to contact them over the phone is nearly impossible. The automated system is terrible and needs a revamp badly.

The person was super helpful with what we were looking for. We were able to purchase the item but have to go back with the appropriate forms that's required to show my husband's military status (our mistake, we thought ID would work but we need the paperwork). Looking forward to future business.

16: 30: 00 16JUN20. I tried to call to see if they have a Gunsmith or if they contract the work out and the fellow who answered the phone was very short and rude. I simply asked “. Do you provide any gun smithing services.or tried and in the middle he just yells “NOPE” I then went to ask if they can refer and again before I finished he yells “NOPE” very rude customer service if I may say so, and I just hung up as I did not want t spend money in a store that has rude and ignorant people that do not know how to have a pleasant and welcoming attitude for a prospective client.

My first gun purchase was excellent. The was very knowledgeable and helped me. I will continue to go there for my future purchases

I've going to Atlanta Tactical since the openned. I retired from law enforcement couple years ago. Now working at a private range I needed range pants and the worker there assisted me in picking two pairs of pants. This is a law enforcement store only that has supplies for police and security personnel. Great place for equipment and firearms.

I’ve been coming here for years to buy equipment. The staff was typically nice and always liked the store. However they must of gotten new staff members because a few weeks ago I stopped by and felt very disrespected by the one cashier as soon as I walked in. The rest of the staff was not very helpful for what I was looking for that day either.

Nonexistent customer service. As in, you will not receive a response from them. But you *will* be endlessly spammed with advertisement emails from them.

You'll find a wide variety of tactical gear in this store as well as uniforms if you are employed in local emergency professions. The employees are all very helpful and pleasant. Alterations are offered here as well. There is a good size selection of firearms available as well, but are not sold to the general public.

If you are police, sheriff, fire dept or peace officer; it is by far the cheapest place in or near Phila. They have a wide array of tactical weapons, equipment and ammo. They do not carry sporting weapons. I highly recommend them for you shooting and equipment needs.

1 star is being generous. This place really went downhill in recent months. It seems like almost every employee is as incompetent as they come. Staff gets annoyed when you need assistance and usually know little to nothing. When I spoke to co workers about my recent experience almost every one of them had a similar horror experience dealing with the staff. Word is quickly spreading in the PPD and surrounding agencies to avoid atlantic tactical at all costs. Stay away

Helpful and knowledgeable staff to find all of your equipment needs. There is ample space to try on boots and walk around to get a proper feel for what you're wearing. I grabbed a pair of 5.11 Tactical Jungle boots and found them really comfortable with excellent ankle support and forefoot/midfoot padding. Highly recommend this place for all law enforcement, first responders, and civilians looking for gear.

This place has THE WORST customer service I've ever encountered. They consistently get special orders wrong, never return your calls, and generally don't seem to care one way or the other. You're better off just ordering online direct from the manufacturer. The only reason i gave them one star is because you can't give them ZERO.

Great selection, and pretty well stocked! The surly customer service could use some work, though.
