I had the pleasure of interacting with an exceptional AT&T customer service representative who went above and beyond to assist me. This outstanding individual not only provided me with the necessary support but also allowed me to use his phone for an entire 2 hours to make critical calls to customer service.
His dedication, professionalism, and willingness to help were truly remarkable. I am beyond appreciative of his efforts, which made a significant difference in resolving my issues promptly and efficiently. There was only one employee working at the time of our visit. Connor was currently assisting another person but did greet us when we entered and advised us of the wait. There was also another person currently waiting as well. Once it was our turn. Connor was unable to assist us with the exchange of the phone that was ordered online. He was speaking with someone from the helpdesk. Connor was provided with 2 options. The first required a manager override. There was no manager in the store at the time. The second option was for them to generate a return shipping label. As soon as the USPS scans the package and it shows in their possession we will be able to return to the store and get the correct device. However, it was Sunday and, as you know, the USPS is closed on Sundays, so this remains unresolved.
We were also there to upgrade another device. A Pixel 6a to the Pixel Fold. Which was currently not available in the store, but could be shipped to my home. I'll have it in 2-3 business days. So this also remains unresolved.
However we received excellent service from Connor. He did absolutely everything he could to get the phone exchanged. Without his manager, there was nothing he could do.
Connor was very professional and more helpful than I could have asked for! I absolutely appreciate him!
I was changing my cellphone to save money with another carrier. My original cellphone wasn't locked. So I transferred my phone number to another carrier. New cellphone carrier sent me a sim card and it didn't work. So my number was ported to the new carrier. This means I lost access to my primary phone number. I was on the phone for 4 hours. They told me in the end, i would have to go to the closest store. That store is over an hour away. I drove to the store and found out they couldn't help me. They said my phone was still locked. I called the first carrier, and they said my phone wasn't locked and created a ticket to investigate. I then had to buy a new cellphone and get a second line. If I didn't, it would take 3 to 5 days for me to recover my primary phone number and hopefully would be able to use my current cellphone. Access to my primary phone number is super important due to what I do in regards to the community and my public office. I waisted 8 hours doing it today.
I cannot ever get a break. I had to agree to an $800.00 cellphone as well. Now I have 2 lines when I wanted 1 and cannot use my favorite cellphone anymore.

The customer service person at the store was bound to the companies regulations. His service was good. My previous rating of this establishment was for the companies regulations at one star, not the customer service person at the store. His rating would be almost a 5 star.
When rating a company, one is rating the entire establishment and systems in the company.
Customer service ratings are from the perspective of the customer and how they feel the entire experience was. All my reviews are how I was treated and like the company. A customer service agent can be good, but if the system in place that are decisions of higher management are difficult that comes into the entire review process.
In the end the process I experienced yesterday caused me great grief and cost me money I didn't really have to spend since I barely make it paying my bills.
I wish the executives at ATT would understand what impact their policies have on future clients.
In the end customer service should be their number one priority.
I used to be a reservation agent at an airline and have experience with being caught in the middle between company policies and giving good customer service. I was frustrated that I couldn't give a break to customers that really needed it due to bad customer service policies. I truly understand the customer service agent yesterday situation.
Status update
The situation will be resolved soon. I am working with a customer service agent at the corporate level. I received good service through her. Donnabelle was an excellent customer service agent.
Connor is one of the best sales rep that we have ever worked with. He is very knowledgeable and helpful with AT&T products and saved us money. We highly recommend Connor if anyone that needs help or wants to change service to AT&T. Connor was super friendly and answered all my families questions.
When I purchased my phone Assurion insurance was added to my bill without my consent. I didn’t realize it had been added to my bill until I saw a $17 dollar monthly charge on the app. It was never even brought up when I purchased my phone. Very disappointing.
They are very happy to sell you a new device but after that no help at all with warranty or even to close your account.
They won't even answer there phones. You have to call customer service and spend lots of time on the phone.
