Au Bon Lieu French Creperie reviews
14Went this morning for the first time and we were not disappointed. Fantastic service and the crepes were the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back
This my wife & I first time here. Food was very delicious. However, it took a long time for the food to get out.
Amazing crepes! I would totally recommend it! Different types of crepes that are made beautifully! Must stop anytime in Hershey.
What this place lacks in ambiance, it makes up for in food quality. The crepes are fabulous, both savory and sweet. The owner/chef is so skilled and fun to watch. He is kind and generous and fed us well. Thank you!
We are french and we were happy to find a creperie. But as soon as we pass the door. We were disappointed. It is very small like 5 tables. Not very clean and full of moths flying around. No alcohol beverage. You don't have a waitress taking care of your order you are doing that by yourself on a paper.
I put 2 stars because we have not tried the food so maybe it is good but it was not a restaurant for us.
Wonderfully delicious! While in town for a weekend we had breakfast before leaving for home it was amazing had 3 different of the savory crepes everyone was top notch fresh and well prepared none of us wanted anything sweet but whatched as chef prepared a few different kinds and the smell was fragrant so I’m guessing the sweet or savory you will not be disappointed
Authentic French crepes. Lemon crepe is to die for. Great staff and friendly owner! A must stop when in Hershey
This was pretty much one of the few places opened on Thanksgiving. We had some savory and sweet crepes that were pretty good. Our server also was local and told us some nice facts about hershey.
Very quaint very authentic Creperie! We got several different savory crepes- pictured is a turkey & spinach one with egg & avocado and a lemon crepe. We also recommend the dark chocolate with strawberries crepe. Fariq & staff were attentive and efficient. This is a no-frills little nook but I promise you won't be disappointed with the delicious crepes!
A must stop! Delicious sweet and savory crepes in a homey no frills atmosphere. Great service and food that makes you want to try the whole menu!
Au Bon Lieu is a home style french creperie. Farid, the owner and the chef, welcomed my friend and I on our first visit there, and we had an amazing experience. We had a savory special of the day, which was a crepe stuffed with salmon and capers and topped with a fried egg and avocado. We also ordered two Nutella crepes, one stuffed with banana the other topped with strawberries. Both were topped with his wife’s homemade caramel, which was so delicious. Before we left he made us a lemon crepe topped with powdered sugar. All of the crepes were exceptional and Farid truly made us feel at home. Thank you for such a fun experience! We highly recommend Au Bon Lieu to people of all ages and hope to visit again one day when we visit Hersey!
Upon walking in, it felt like we suddenly returned to France. The proprietor was so lovely!
Quaint and delicious! We truly enjoyed our savory and sweet crepes! Do yourself a favor and stop in for an awesome meal!
Really great crepe experience here! When I say this was a one man show that is a literal statement. We came in around 10: 30am on a Saturday with a party of 11. We were the first ones there but it filled up in the following hour. There was one person working, taking orders, making crepes, serving coffee. While this sounds like a recipe for disaster, it wasn't! He did an excellent job!
We had around 20 crepes between the 11 of us, a mix between sweet and savory, and I'm not sure anyone had a crepe they didn't love. There is another location in Harrisburg, but we chose the Hershey one because of how cute the town is.
Easy recommendation from all of us!
