Nice staff, extremely expensive, would of went else where if it wasn’t the only place open. Had to drive over an hour to get here in the first place and prices were insane. Kept recommending things not even relevant to the issue. Again, friendly staff, just more of a waste of time.

The people are rude. They did not have a veterinarian to see my pet but charged me for seeing a vet. We called ahead and were told to come right in.no appointment necessary. When we got there they were upset because we did not have an appointment!
To call the staff unprofessional is an understatement.
I will not be taking any pets to any Avets ever again.

If I could give them a zero, I would. I took my dog in, they told me she was suffering from a food bloat. They gave her fluids and discharged her. After coming home her symptoms came back within the hour. I was so scared so I called back. This is all after spending $562.37. Who ever it was that answered the phone said they couldn't give me any advice over the phone and suggested I bring her back in, at which time she reminded me that I would be changed the exam fee for a second time (which is roughly $140.00). After that conversation, my husband and I decided since they only care about money we where taking her somewhere else. We drove over an hour at 2: 30 in the morning to PVSEC.after an hour there they concluded that it was most certainly not a food bloat and they would need further testing to figure out what was going on. She ended up suffering from pyometra which resulted in an emergency surgery. (Which ended up costing near $4000.00) So she was miss diagnosed at avets and after their "judgement" they decided that they were not at fault for anything and would not refund us our money back. The money at this point in not the issue, it's the fact that avets didn't care one bit about our dog and her serious condition. I've called many times to dispute their "judgement" and each time I've called I've been treated like vermin. They don't give you the time of day and seem inhuman with their response to any questions I've had! I asked the woman who answered the phone today who I could speak with about there judgement and how I could dispute it and she said it's final, you're wasting your time. She was so cold and inconsiderate to every word I said. I hung up the phone and broke down.how could these people even own an emergency pet service with their staff acting like this! They don't care about you, or your animal! I suggest taking your pet to PVSEC who actually take the time to understand what's going on!

I've (unfortunately) been to AVETS numerous times over the past few years with my cat. Pricing is quite steep, but the convenience is really comforting. I've been very happy with the care they have given my cat, from just a quick emergency visit to a few days of overnight stay, and I have never had an issue with the staff. Wait times can be inconsistent, but I'm usually back in a room within 30 minutes of arrival. The location is clean, plenty of parking, and communication is thorough. Most importantly, each time we have left my cat is in a better condition than when we arrived. I'm grateful for their service. A word of advice- after seeing the first emergency vet bill I promptly got pet insurance, which makes the anxiety of the cost of the visits diminish.

I had to come to AVets on a Sunday since my cat had cut her paw. This was my first vet ER experience and I was impressed at how they handle emergencies. Yes, people were seen before me since there were more urgent matters, but I would want the same for my pet if she were significantly ill. There were so many people giving the girls a hard time because of the wait and they took it in stride. This day in age people need more patience and understanding. Once I was seen, Dr. Jones was wonderful and thorough and I could tell the tech (wish I remembered her name) truly loved my cat. I am so grateful for the care I received and that they were there for me on a Sunday and all the staff deserve much praise for the work they do. I will recommend your services to all my (patient and understanding) friends:)
