Aviation Grill, Philadelphia PA

Meh, food wasn’t good but it was cooked. They’re selling convenience at a high price. Pita chips were so hard they would work better as chisels, pasta was watery, wings were good but nothing to write home about, flat bread was good (but how hard is it to put cheese and pepperoni on a pita?). I Wanted a hamburger, but $24 for a basic burger was stupid

Saw some reviews and was debating on coming down for dinner. I had a fantastic meal. Philly pretzels were amazing. Then ordered the NY strip. Done perfectly, tasted fantastic. Finished with cheesecake which was also great. Service was impeccable. Food came out perfectly timed. Happy I went. Everything was delicious.

Only eaten here a couple times but usually has been mediocre at best, for lunch the French dip and the strawberry nut salad are decent choices.

I don’t know where the bartender learned to make drinks, but it certainly wasn’t on this planet. A single cocktail was about 1/4 of the strength it should have been and when it was sent back for a double (at an up charge), the un-chilled shot was the most lighter fluid tasting substance I’ve ever had. They’re watering down their cocktails and when you catch them in the act, they make you think you’re insane.

Also, they charge for larger ice cubes with no changes to the alcohol content. Last I checked, table water is free-so why should freezing it cost any more?

(Two slices of toast cut in half and a boat load of butter was super overpriced.)

Great place. A little expensive but worth it. The pretzels are absolutely amazing! 100% suggest those!

Unfortunately, I missed my flight and had to stay in the airport Marriott hotel for the night. With nothing around I was told to go to the Aviation Grill. "It's top-notch! ", they said.

Well, I ordered the Yuengling beer that was $9.80 the meal was $18 Gnats were flying around and landing on my Aviation Burger! A burger that came with shoestring fries and a kosher pickle wedge.needless to say I left it all. The hostess took my meal when I showed her I had to smash bugs on my burger and pickle wedge. Not to mention the 2 floating in my drink!

It was so hard, and took alot of poise and restraint not to raise up from my seat yelling in utter disgust. With folks looking as I'm shadow boxing with gnats.the hostess said it was bc the seats were so near the open door to the building. I was livid but responded with respect and humility. She decided to charged me for the beer since I had taken my 1st sip. So I tipped 100% in kind $9.80 to make it as close to an even $20 as I could.

Just bc their situation was subpar, doesn't mean I have to be less than my best self. I sincerely hope they get the flying insect situation under control.

Aviation Grill is convenient being inside the Marriott and then steps away from the Philadelphia terminal. It was only about a ten minute walk to the Delta ticket counter to check our baggage. The Caesar salad was huge and tasty. The grilled salmon was cooked nicely. The martinis from the bar were refreshing. Server was friendly and attentive. Would recommend Aviation Grill to our friends and family visiting the Philadelphia airport area. Excellent late dinner!

This restaurant is located within the Marriott hotel and we dined here during our stay. I would rate it above average from similar establishments located within hotels.
I liked the decor and ambiance, but overall it seemed a bit on the smaller side for the hotel and we had to wait to be seated.
The server was attentive, friendly and did a great job considering the place was packed.
The food was satisfying, albeit nothing exceptional and was about as expected. It is a bit pricey for what is served.
If you're staying at he hotel, I recommend it.

We came in looking for a bite to eat and also multitasking our waitress was awesome! She worked with us- our meal of apps were great! Get the pretzels! We went to our room, got ready for a party, grabbed a quick drink and she helped us AGAIN. TY!

We were looking for a place to eat at the Philly Airport that was outside security and wasn't convenience store snacks. After going through terminals A and B with no luck, we decided to see if there was anything at the Marriott before giving up. (We were at the airport for a global entry interview and weren't flying out of Philly).

Aviation Grill is a nicely kept bar and grill inside the Marriott. The wait staff were very attentive and our meal came out quickly and more importantly, hot! I had the grownup grilled cheese sandwich with a salad for my side. They were generous with the ham, lots of gooey cheese, and on nicely toasted sourdough bread. You can't go wrong ordering the grilled cheese sandwich! My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and said it was good, but hey, he likes pretty much everything. Our meals were filling enough that we skipped dessert despite being tempted by the Juniors cheesecake.

Waitstaff were pleasant and attentive.

We were there at about 12: 45 pm, so maybe the tail end of the lunch "rush". We were out by about 1: 45 pm with the majority of the time spent enjoying the food (meaning we weren't sitting there forever waiting to be served or for our food.)

If we're ever at the Philly Airport again, I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again.
