Backroads Antiques reviews
17Been here many times. If you're in the area, and like antiquing, definitely stop there!
Nice place to look around. We didn't buy just looked around and saw many items our parents and grandparents had. We have items in our home too. Toys we grew up with.
It's a very nice place. They had some interesting antiques. We did get some items. They are very nice.
They have one of the best collections i have ever seen. This is NOT a junk store but an actual quality antique store. Prices were lower than I would have thought given the quality and selection of their stock.
My husband and I went to this antique store over the weekend while visiting the Poconos. Although they didn’t have what we were looking for I was very impressed with the items they had. This is the best antique store I have ever been to. It is cleaned well displayed the music was vintage that went with the theme of the store. The employees were very nice. I’m anxious to go back and see what new things they will have the next time we visit.
Very antique, too many different varieties. Be careful not to knock something down. Very friendly. Need more lighting in the store.
Wide variety of vintage/antique items including tools, furniture, signs, shutters, and books
Love backroads antiques! They always have great merchandise and the staff is very helpful. I try and stop by every 4 or 5 weeks.
This is a great antique shop! They have a very eclectic mix of furniture and smalls. The couple who own/operate the store seem like a very lovely couple. I will definitely travel back there even though it's an hour and a half drive!
If you ever wanted to travel back in time to simpler times when things were made to last and cherish, than go no further. Amazing items and service beyond compare, make walking in and leaving with a sense of awe and nostalgia and a longing for cherished memories of days gone by, but never forgotten.
Absolutely wonderful. This store is a true gem. The staff are nice and there are amazing items to buy. Fair prices too! Worth going out of your way to visit.
Also, after reading not so good reviews, I am surprised. Due to how much I purchased, they even took a dollar off on something I added at the last minute. Nice gesture.
PROS: The place is a decent size for an antique shop. They have the usual stuff you'd find in any antique store, and unlike some bad ones, she actually had antiques and not just slightly old/used things. The place was clean, had a bathroom, loads of parking, and their own truck to deliver large items.
CONS: The only con was that a lot of the stuff was over priced for what it was worth.
OVERALL: This is definitely a place I'd go to more often if I was always in the area. Just make sure when you go inside to bring a lot of cash and a lot of time
A honestly true backroad antiques store.
Friendly people, wide selection of true antiques. Allow yourself some time to browse at this one. A must see place.
Everything is over priced, cashier shorted me on my change, alot of repos they try to pass off as real old stuff, bad parking, 895 studio is were its at they have cheap bargains and barrels for cheap
Lots to see. We stop in every time we are in the area. You just never know what they are going to have!
I LOVE this place! The old building is fun to explore, and it is filled with an endless assortment of interesting pieces. I rarely leave without buying something; often it's a piece of jewelry. The owners Carmen and Joe are really nice to talk to. It's time for another visit!
