Baer Ave Playground reviews
8I've been going to this park since I was young kid. My kids love it and it has a nice size basketball court. But it needs updated with new equipment; many swings and things are broken. It has potential!
Honestly, it's not the best playground but it's not the worst either so we still go. Some issues we have had are graffiti, teenagers cursing and/or acting recklessly, fencing does not completely surround the playground, and there is minimal play equipment (none for special needs children). On the flipside, there are plenty of swings, you can usually have the playground to yourself earlier in the day, it's in a pretty quiet neighborhood and now it has a pokéstop for all the po-goers out there. If you're looking for a high excitement playground to spend hours at, this isn't the one for you. If you're thinking about going for a walk and want somewhere to sit and have a snack with the kiddos and play for 20 minutes, then stop on by (unless there are teenagers, then keep walking).
It's a nice place to take the Kidos, But it really needs a Face lift really bad! Paint and something New
Great place for the kids to play alot of stuff, only issue is open gates.and the basket ball court should have a fence around for little kids not to step off
Parking is street side so that was unnerving. The equipment is dated but in an educational way that I can now say my Gen Alpha kids have experienced a metal slide and a merry go round. They had fun but we didn't stay long because it didn't feel like a very safe area and some of the local kids were pretty mean to my daughter who just wanted to make friends
Convenient to get to from every intersection. Great place to take your kids to play and shoot some hoops.
The playground is spacious but the equipment is weathered and needs painted. There's also a notable amount of graffiti that I don't want my toddler reading.
