A plain yellow cake with strawberry filling may sound very basic, but this was by far one of the top 2 cakes I have ever had in over 50 years! It was incredibly moist and the cake to icing ratio was just perfect (that's our own personal test!) Many bakeries can make a pretty cake, but not all can make a beautiful cake that tastes good too! The guests at our wedding raved about the taste, and I can honestly say I say I rarely eat more than one piece of cake. Yes, my husband and I ate the leftover cake when we came home from the wedding, the next morning for breakfast and the day after that too! It was incredible! 5 stars all the way!
They treated the bride and groom wonderful when they went to the tasting too!

Appearance wise the cake looks are 10 out of 10. They were able to make the look of cake that I want. Also, they still accepted my order last minute and staff are very accomodating. I am only giving 3 star since the cake is so dry and filling are too sweet. Cake in walmart or usual grocery store honestly tastes way better. If you are looking for cake that really taste good, this may not be the one for you. But if you need instagram picture perfect cake that needs to be done asap, they are the right one. If only they could improve the taste of their cake, something that is not dry rather moist this would be a 5 star.

My wedding cake was beautiful, and more importantly, it was absolutely delicious. We got so many compliments. Not sure we'll be able to wait until our anniversary to eat the top tier.

I went there this morning and all they had was about a dozen of cupcakes. There were no cookies or any other items for walkins to purchase. The inside of the bakery is drabby. I was informed that the batter used in the cupcakes is the same as in the cakes. I purchase 4 cupcakes and was not impressed at all! The cupcakes were okay but the icing taste old and stale.

Hauntingly magnificent cake. Well worth a 90 minute trip. Hands down the best chocolate cake I've ever had.

The cake we recently had made for my daughters baby shower was delicious. It was not exactly made to the specs of our order, but nonetheless delicious and beautifully decorated. This was the second time we did not get the cake we were expecting to get. Like I said, the quality here is very good, but the communication is lacking. In fact, given our prior issue I had the nerve to question the specs of the cake when picking it up and was asked: “didn’t you order it”? Yes, but like, 6 weeks ago. And, it was not made to the specs we had discussed when ordering. Bottom line, delicious and beautiful cakes, employees lacking people and detail skills.

The cake was excellent but the staff was not, and for that reason I will no longer buy from them

Attention all bride and grooms to be: Best tasting and looking wedding cake ever! They were able to recreate the picture we showed them and got each layer to be a different layer. Very reasonably priced and they deliver! 100% recommend!

Bakers of Buffington makes a DELICIOUS cake! They made our wedding cake last summer and it was a hit amongst our guests! Their consultation and sampling process is easy and super affordable. Their cake pricing is very fair. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is that there was some confusion and a lot of calls back and forth over whether or not they could make the cake we ordered - we learned when we cut the cake that it wasn’t as we ordered. But it was still very tasty!

This is the fourth cake we’ve ordered, and every time we are impressed with the quality and taste. So happy with service and care. Always ready on time and beautifully done!

Bakers of Buffington did our wedding cake and did a fabulous job! The cake was beautiful and delicious! They offer a ton of variety for different flavors - we went with lemon cake and raspberry buttercream, vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream, and for our take home cake chocolate chip pound cake with peanut butter frosting (OMG SO GOOD). They were very attentive and met with us in advance to go over details, decorations, and of course to give samples. Highly recommended for any event!

Client got cup cake.she just turn 100. This place us to good.but the cupcakes tast horrible.the family had to Go to wagmens.

Bakers of Buffington did an amazing job on our wedding cake! Not only was it absolutely delicious but it was absolutely beautiful too!

I’ve purchased cakes here for most big occasions over the last 4+ years. Recently there was some confusion on color icing and sprinkles for my son’s birthday cake. The color combination clashed and I asked if they could help me remove the spinkles. I just wasn’t impressed with the lack of willingness to assist or troubleshoot. Luckily I was able to salvage and remove a layer on my own. Made me realize it likely would’ve been easy for them to help me with too. Will consider finding a new go to location.

They are simply amazing! Every time I have gotten a cake there, I give them very little direction because I love to see what they will come up with next. They always exceed my expectations! The cakes are always delicious and a huge hit at my parties

I don’t personally like their cakes. They are too sweet and sugary. But they are very professional
