Worst banking experience ever, unprofessional, rude & flat out disrespectful. No care for the customers, they act like they own your money. I told a teller off so they placed a hold on my check for over a week than tried to return it.

Please stop opening accounts under my name without my consent, boa. Also, stop fighting with me when I seek to close these accounts upon learning about them. If you want my business, earn it.

I have been a Bank of America customer for the last 5+ years and have never received better service than I did at this location. My husband and I traveled from Maryland to the area to purchase a vehicle, and was blindsided by the dealership telling us at the last minute that they do not accept personal checks for out of state customers. We traveled to this location to see what our money-moving options are, and the team responded with so much empathy and compassion, ultimately helping us get cash for the majority of the down payment. Going above and beyond, a few days later, we received a follow-up call from the teller who helped us, Randy, who just called to make sure that it all worked out in the end; it did, but we couldn't have done it without this kind team! We are so grateful to this branch for saving the day and preventing what could have been a devastating situation.

The manager and the teller don’t convey professional and appears to have a lack of understanding and knowledge of customers services. I try to withdraw from my checking account using my driving license but the teller insisted in getting a text message
Very aggravating is Bank of America

The lack of training for stuff at this location is worrisome. When I went in person and tried to exchange some foreign currency at this location, the teller simply told me "no we do not take foreign currency here". When I said it's shown on BOA website that it can be exchanged at any financial center, she insisted "no we don't do that here". So I asked help to find where I can do the exchange at any nearby branch of BOA, she just said "just look up on the website" and then tried to get rid of me by signaling the next customer to come up to the window.

Without going into too much detail, I will just say that I think double checking one's work is always a good idea, especially before submitting any changes to a customer's bank account on their behalf. Tip: attention to detail coupled with good customer service will go a long way and might resonate with your consumers.not with me, but maybe the next person.

I would definitely recommend to avoid this branch for any banking service or explore other banks in and around this area. It was so difficult to get an appointment for a wire transfer at this location as all the staffs were neck deep engaged with work and the issue is with their attitude; not the busy schedule. We finally received an appointment for the next day; and today we realized that they cancelled the appointment without even informing us. Unbelievable!

I spoke to a very rude banker over the phone. I was asking simple questions trying to understand one of their policies and he HUNG UP ON ME mid conversation.
Don’t bother with this location. If they can be this petty and unprofessional over the phone when I was asking questions, who knows how much worse they’ll behave concerning more serious banking matters.
Stay away.

I’ve been experiencing bad services from the managers of this location, not the tellers!
Every time I am trying to get some informations they are either rude or not helping at all!

Stay as far away from Bank of America as possible. Their new model apparently posts a bouncer at the front door, to explain to customers the reasons why they're not permitted to enter the building (e.g, "no appointment, " "we're short-staffed, " " you have to do that online"). Nevermind the content of the BofA website: "Can I still go directly to my financial center and meet with an associate without making an appointment?
Yes, you can visit a financial center without an appointment. " They closed the branches in Kennett Square, Glen Mills, Wayne, etc. Now there's one left within 20 miles, and no one is allowed to enter it. Good luck getting your money out of a Bank of America account if you make the mistake of dealing with these clowns!

Despite checking the app and calling directly, location is closed temporarily; like so many BoA locations in this part of PA. Just with someone could stay on top of what is open and what is closed.

Terrible experience. I have the feeling that they don't want to do business but only keep your money at a very low interest rate and sell you credit cards. I booked an appointment online and somebody called and said that they don't do personal loans. He did not think or propose keeping my savings (which is substantial) in their bank as collateral. The attitude is cold, non-business and could be classified as respectless. My feeling is that he was having his coffee in the morning and did not want to be bothered. I am sorry that I kept a substantial amount of money in this bank for years.

Worst experience. I've been a customer of BoFa since 2017. I never faced this kind of issue in CA. I want to transfer money from travel prepaid card provided by my employer to my account, which I did in 2017. I want to do the same with exton branch. After three different visits now the bank employee says it is not possible. Is this kind of joke. First two visits they process but declined from source bank as it exceeded daily limit. No consistency in your rules. Rules change with employee.

Absolute waste of time. Forced to enter bank despite absolutely nothing that couldn’t have been done over phone or email having taken place. Additionally no resolution for my potential identify theft issue could be assured despite providing access to 2 credit reports. Little to no information sharing amongst associates, very disappointing was hoping for some professional results after being dragged into the bank during a global pandemic. I could have received no assurance and been told to “contact social security” re: the potential breach over phone or email.

The bank manager really so rude. They failed to resolve customer issues having with Bank of America. I feel that management and employees working in the bank for just taking salary, not providing customer service. The bank manager really has an issue with a customer. Better they should attend behavioral trainings to work.
