Bar-Ly Chinatown reviews
17 LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!
DELICIOUS FOOD!
TASTY DRINKS! MY FAVORITE IS THE LYCHEE MARTINI!
FUN ENVIRONMENT!
FRIENDLY AND NICE STAFF!
IF YOU ARE IN THE CHINATOWN AREA. YOU MUST STOP IN!
Steamed pork dumplings and spicy tuna rolls were tasty. Nice draft beer selection. Good place to hand and watch a game while waiting for a travel connection. Tom was a terrific server! Friendly and fast!
Very good place I want take my friend there for his birthday food was amazing salvador puebla is really doing amazing job
Everything we had was disgusting. Undercooked oven baked wings that literally tasted and smelt raw. (First picture) the waitress was always checking in on us but couldn’t even tell her the food was something I wouldn’t even give to my dog. Over sauced, runny dried wings that was like watered down ketchup with idk what. Wet, gushy, fried rice, no seasoning. I guess people didn’t notice the horrible food from all the good reviews but we saw two couples who walked out and we were right behind them. Do not stop here if your know you are used to actual good tasting food. I’ve been to corner shops with better Chinese food. It was the only thing we had eaten for a few hours and it made my belly ache.
Love love love this place it’s so cute and all the servers and bartenders are super cool and nice. I enjoy coming to this place to enjoy the environment and energy.
Really good experience. Mixed vegetable lo mein was incredible, drinks were very strong. I so enjoyed the green tea shots, and I'm super impressed with their saki options. I truly believe this may be the best bar in Chinatown. Classic sports atmosphere, but the food really stood out. Came in with a group of four around 6: 30 and were seated immediately. Visited on a Thursday, so I can imagine the weekends are much more busy.
Bar Ly is the place to be! Ask for joe or Eric— best waiters in town! Such amazing food and great drinks during happy hour! Beautiful outside seating!
I love Bar Ly! The atmosphere is so fabulous. Ask for Joe or Cindy, both are amazing at what they do. Get the lo mein you won’t be disappointed.
Amazing bar. My personal favorite happy hour. Great wings and great food specials. Good beer selection and very reasonably priced happy hour. Fantastic atmosphere. If I was to be nit picky I’d bring up the fact my blue moons orange was kinda oddly colored but other than that I can’t complain. Will definitely come again.
It was my first time visiting Bar-LY. I had a great time drinks are amazing. I definitely will be going back there for happy hour
Barly is a great place to go for happy hour drinks and food! The food and drinks are great, and the service is amazing. The staff was super nice and the service is impeccable. I definitely recommend coming here for some drinks and appetizers!
Absolutely fantastic place! Amazing service and happy hour specials from 3-6 pm in the heart of Chinatown. Joe and Eric are amazing!
Good service. The boneless pork ribs were delicious. Great flavor! Large portion of chicken lo mein. First visit and I'll come back.
Perfect place for cheap happy hour drinks and to catch a game! I love "The Process" cocktail and the food is delicious. Joe is the best server - super helpful!
ABSOLUTELY loved it. Not a fan of dining outside however me, my daughter and granddaughter hand a wonderful time. Service was good and the appetizers delicious-at least the ones we ordered. Will definitely go again.
Great atmosphere, great service and great food. We watched a sixers game here with friends and had a lot of fun. They have a lot of cool specials and some dim sum type small plates. They have pretty large portions for their full meals and a good variety of Asian and American fusion foods. Oh and great beer selection.
Love this place! Tonight was my first time there and I was so excited to find another fun spot in philly. I give 5 stars because this place has SO much potential. The only recommendation I would give is to bring dancing into the mix. I asked one of the workers if (pre-covid) they move the tables and open up for dancing after a certain time and was super bummed to hear that they have yet to do anything like that. This place would be a huge hotspot if they did! The big wall of TV’s would be perfect to show the music videos of the songs they play (they had great music tonight). I just recently visited other cities and a lot of their nightlife has this. Would gladly return every weekend if bar-ly did this:)
