Barclay Friends is horrible. You can be a hard independent working employees that liked by residence and there family treated nasty by your manger in dietary. Tami, Omar. Matthew, Ken were jealous of me voicing my opinion toward them and not back down from them. They did everything to get me out of Barclay because I was liked by so much people there. Also will be took the schedule for no reason.

My 86 years old aunt was initially places at Springfields after after her husband passed away. Just after a few days being there I knew I can't leave her. We were lucky to come across B. Friends where she is from April 2022. There are so many good things about this place.
- the stuff is always cheerful and nice to everyone, from the front desk staff Donna, to the activity team members and nurses
- the place is peaceful. There is no chaos
- the building is specious, clean and nicely decorated with always changing art created by kids.
- the stuff listens to feedback and requests
- they are great in providing on-going updates (I only wish that some of the nurses would start the call from saying "this is not emergency". Sometime when they call me in the middle of the night, as I am in a different country, I stressed out that something happens to my aunt as it takes some time for them to tell me why they are calling about.
- the garden outside is very nice. We can take my aunt for a wheelchair walk around the building and check the fruits vegetables or even fish!
- there are many well thought activities for residents

The only thing I wish is that the nurses wouldn't not have changed that often. I can't blame the facility, as I know it is a world-wide problem to find employees, especially in healthcare industry, but maybe there is something they could do to keep the stuff for longer? There is so many benefits from employee retention, including way lower costs, so I would assume it is a problem worth looking into. The facility has already advantage in being a nice place, so it may be good to figure out what causes people to leave and tackle it.

Overall I am very satisfied with the facility and would highly recommend it to anyone who has a family member in need of care.
