25I absolutely love this place. Amazingly fresh meat and the prices are even better than you can imagine. Definitely worth the ride.
Gary Bardine started small and is now a large country butcher shop. His recipes have won many awards around the country. Meat is fresh cut. Many specialty products. This is the best ham, bacon, and sausage that I've ever had. It is worth the drive for his products. I feel his ground products like sausage or ground meat are much leaner than most others. His smoked products are all award-winners.
Hands down probably the best country butcher shop in the pittsburgh surrounding area. Fresh meat and nice selection of specialty in house jerky, sausage, bacons etc. Probably some of the best bacon I've had. Had trouble ordering a pig for a roast thou.
They raise their own beef, meats are fresh, this is my 4th time to this place. We bought ribeye, smoked pork belly, chicken breast, pepper stick, home made breakfast sausage they were all awesome! Specially their homemade pierogis is so yummy!
Been a customer for more than 10 years. No one beats them on quality, price and variety of product. Smoked products are the best you'll ever find!
