Barnes & Noble at Bucknell University reviews
16This is a cool store. Never been in one with a school store on it before. Tons of Bucknell items in here. If you can't find it you aren't looking hard enough.
The lady at customer service went above and beyond to help me find a misplaced book by Stephen King. Not only was it ready for pickup the next day, she also gave me 2 other resources by Stephen King from her personal library. That type of care is only shared by true book lovers, and this B&N should be proud to have such an outstanding staff working for them. Highly recommend!
Free wi fi, food and drink available, young people, and comfortable chairs.books and magazines. Who could ask for more.
Great bookstore in beautiful downtown Lewisburg. Decent selection, but functions primarily as the Bucknell University bookstore. So. Tons of BU swag.
One of if not my favorite book store for a campus/college! Great selection of merch and books in general. Always worth a stop if you're a bucknellian passing through. Very nice location if you need to study as well!
Great bookstore with so much merchandise. You can't leave here without buying something! I posted a bunch of pictures of the multiple floors. Happy shopping.
I love Barnes and Nobles. When I was a little kid my dad took me here and got one of my favorite books: Superman Last Son. I went back a month ago. Few comics to pick from:/ Mostly just the Bucknell University bookstore, which makes sense because I'm pretty sure it is. Still, good memories. Huge place. Awesome
It’s a really nice college bookstore. It’s a college store, so not much choice in non-college books, but it has a great atmosphere and a nice little coffee shop.
Sales staff very helpful and friendly. Very well organized easy to find what you are looking for.
THOUGH I LIKE THIS STORE DUE TO THE NICE, HELPFUL EMPLOYEES, IT LACKS A SECTION ON PARANORMAL & ON COZY MYSTERIES, & ON PARANORMAL COZY MYSTERIES. THEY HAVE NO ROSE PRESSY OR CAROL J. PERRY OR JULIET BLACKWELL PARANORMAL COZY MYSTERIES. THEY STILL DON'T HAVE ANY MAGAZINES, THOUGH I WAS TOLD THEY'VE ORDERED MAGAZINES & ARE WAITING ON THEM TO GET THERE. THIS STORE ALSO DOESN'T CARRY ANY DVD'S OF ANY KIND. I'M JUST USED TO LARGER BARNES & NOBLE BOOKSTORES AS I'M FROM COLORADO & THE BARNES & NOBLE BOOKSTORES THERE ARE MUCH LARGER & HAVE A TON OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF BOOKS, DVD'S, MAGAZINES, CALENDARS & TOYS. OVERALL, I REALLY LIKE THIS BUCKNELL UNIVERSITY BARNES & NOBLE BOOKSTORE. I JUST WISH THEY HAD A PARANORMAL BOOK SECTION & PARANORMAL COZY MYSTERIES BOOKS.
A nice bookstore in the heart of downtown Lewisburg. This bookstore serves Bucknell University but also has a nice selection for casual shoppers as well. The children’s section is very nice and they also carry a good selection of toys and games for kids as well. Definitely worth a stop for anyone looking for Bucknell merchandise!
The cashiers are friendly but I get a creepy vibe from some other staff members. When I was in there to pick up a snack at the cafe today, a female staff member was staring at my toddler and I. She didn't say a word or smile - just stared with no expression on her face. I wouldn't think much of it, but it's not the first time this has happened there. Last time I was sitting alone in the cafe area, eating some food I purchased, and a staff member was gazing straight at me, for an extended period of time, from the balcony above. I don't know what's going on there, but I find this behavior to be unsettling. I would love to get some explanation or - better yet - an assurance that those staff members will be instructed to behave in a more socially acceptable manner.
Loved seeing Dr. Brian Johnson for his book signing! He was a professor of mine and he is so talented!
I wish I hadn't had to ask the employee to wash her hands before making my drink after watching her change the trash. Poor hygiene and I'm pretty sure is a food code violation not to. A customer shouldn't have to ask, I'm just glad I came when I did and knew better.
The building itself is beautiful. The outside seating is nice. The safe found in the wall is a really and unique feature.
Quiet place to do homework the only thing I don't like it's a constantly rearranging the furniture
I have had issues with my orders, left messages and emails and there is no response. The customer service on this site is horrible. Never again
