Park Bartram's Garden reviews
14A fun-filled, peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, whether at an event or just going for a stroll?
Beautiful place to visit and walk around. Enjoyed the plants, history, and views. A nice change from the urban scenery. We even saw a bald eagle fly by!
A lovely little niche in the city not too many people know about! We love the garden and so does our family!
What a beautiful, serene, peaceful place to come and relax. I love it here and love the events that have purpose for the community and for the greater good. I will be back
Great local garden. Such a positive place to have in the community. Admission is free and there are often free events. The grounds are well kept. The only issue is the lack of parking, but I've never had an issue. Nice place for a picnic or a stroll.
They have free boating seasonally, classes, plant sales and other events.
Bartram's Gardens are lovely. However, the building debris dumping is COMPLETELY DISGUSTING - Fix It City Hall @PhilladelphiaCityLeadership #FixItNow
It was lovely to celebrate Indigenous People's Day at Bartram's Gardens. The Mexican dancers were magical and the vendors sold some wonderful instruments as well as beautiful clothing and jewelry.
This place is super cool. It’s a little oasis within a metropolis. There’s educational classes for people to take for growing and gardening.
Charming garden and grounds by the river. It is a quiet place to think, walk and try to grow your own food.
This was so exciting. My children got to ride a horse, make apple cider, and play tug of war with other kids.plus there was live entertainment and vendors. Great event.
Been here multiple times since moving to West Philly and it’s truly a treasure. Perfect spot for a picnic or walk.
A neighbor recommended us coming here and we really enjoyed walking around for over an hour. It's a beautiful place, and I loved seeing so many bees and butterflies enjoying themselves amongst the garden. They also have a nice view of the Philly skyline in a few places. Definitely worth a visit, next time I'll need to bring a book!
Also, I had been slightly skeptical about coming here because I remember people saying it seemed sketchy. I don't understand why someone would say that now that I've been here.
I only got to visit this space as an after-hours, after dark venue for a party, which I reconfigure isn't its usual configuration. So rating it solely on those grounds, and it performed well as an outdoor party space.good lighting, easy access (though it might be somewhat challenging for the disabled, it's definitely traversable with a wheelchair) and solid bug control.didn't get bitten in any of the party spaces!
I absolutely love it here. It's a hidden oasis in the city. It's one of my favorite places for my photo sessions!
