Basil Leaf Thai Cuisine, Mechanicsburg PA

When we arrived just before 6 on a Wednesday, the place was empty. As this was our first visit, this made me a little nervous. Not to worry, as the small dining room filled up over the course of our dinner, and several folks stopped in to pick up takeout. Our food was fantastic! My Massaman Curry was outstanding and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his Cashew Nuts with beef.

Absolutely fantastic! I got the summer roll and the vegetable pad thai. I called an order to go while my daughter had karate! Everything is authentic and fresh. This is the best around! I have tried a few like chalits near by but I went the extra 2 miles and boy was it worth it!
I didn't get any silverware for my take out though but I will ask for it next time!

Got take out several times from here now since they don’t have the weird hours the places on the pike do. We’ve been pleasantly surprised. Lots of flavor and my wife especially loves the vegetables that are in the drunken noodle.

Nice local restaurant with great food and friendly service. If you’re in the mood for Thai, support this small business, you won’t regret it. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

The curry dish three of us ordered was supposed to have eggplants in it. As it was only one of us got a thumb size piece in it. The Thai soup was tasteless. Pad Thai seemed to be enjoyed.

I went with some friends who are fans of the place. Food was excellent. I'm a curry lover so I really enjoyed it.

Definitely the best Thai food in the area. I could eat the Pad See Ew every day of the week. Great prices, great atmosphere, and we always walk out happily content.

This place did not disappoint! It is really nice inside, the staff was wonderful and the food was fantastic. You can't go wrong with the pineapple fried rice and I tried the fairy shrimp and it was wonderful. I would definitely eat there again and recommend it

Soup was separated and seemed curdled. Pad see ew had ZERO flavor whatsoever. I had to add my own Sriracha, red pepper flakes, and soy sauce and was still so dissatisfied. The drunken noodles were swimming in oil. The spring rolls were good at least.

Food was great! And for one lady running the front of house the service was awesome. Worth the time, will go back.

Got carry out here, it was quick and accurate. Pineapple fried rice was good and the bubble tea was excellent, highly recommend

This place was a bit pricey but, was worth it. Thai iced tea was so good with my meal. The employees here are very nice and accommodating.

The food and staff is excellent. Once we've eaten here, we'll keep coming back. Guaranteed! The green Thai curry is awesome. Just order some colorful vegetables and you will enjoy it.

Best drunken noodles I've ever had.

Update: I came again today and the drunken noodles were still delicious, but not quite as much so as I remember from my previous visit. It seemed to have more moisture.

I tried the basil fried rice today which was also excellent and flavorful.

Restaurant is byob.

Waited about 25 minutes longer for my order but the food was excellent! Had pad Thai and drunken noodles all 3 of us really enjoyed our meals

Hidden gem is Mechanicsburg!
We ordered spinach potstocker - was good.drunken noodles with chicken - the chicken was little hard but the noodles and taste was amazing. Our favourite of the day was Thai basil, we took two Jasmine rice bowls - the chicken was shredded, it comes with capsicum, onion, broccoli - delicious.
