Beall's Nursery & Landscaping, Pittsburgh PA

Just bought a tree from Bealle’s Nursery in Plum, PA. They are such good folk. Got home and within a couple of days, needles started coming off branches. They asked me a few questions and “No problem, come and pick out anther tree. ” I have done business with them for years and will continue to do. They are a place of integrity. Thank you management at Beatle’s.

This was our second year at Beall's for our Christmas Tree and the experience was just as pleasant with good customer service. The prices were also reasonable given what we were hearing on the local news channels.

We had gotten our Christmas tree here this past year and wanted to go back to get some flowers. We were looking around for any nurseries open on the 4th of July (today). We stopped by here knowing it might be a gamble if they were open. A nice woman who was watering flowers welcomed us and asked if we needed help with anything. We said we were just looking a little and thanked her.

As we were looking around, another woman came out at 1: 35 PM (within the first 5 minutes of walking in) and said "just so you know, we close at 2: 00, so you have about ten minutes. " We said no problem and then she said "we get to have a holiday too. " We ended up leaving right then and going to the Holiday Garden Center and picked up some beautiful hanging plants and flowers. The owner there was so incredibly friendly and helpful!

We will not be back to Beall's due to this poor experience. We want to support local businesses that welcome their community and customers.

My boyfriend picked me up 2 buckets of what was supposed to be top soil. It was junk. I believe it was more like back fill. What a rip. Won't be buying so called top soil from there ever again

Had to pick up some sod for a friend. A lot of hard workers in the yard. I was really impressed with their efficiency. Great customer service and I appreciate young guys really work hard.i like the fact the office is in constant communications with the people in the back. Breath of fresh air.

We have been very happy and satisfied with the service and attention from Beall's. We had the first phase of our landscaping planted in early July and it turned out awesome. We first contacted Justin Beall over 1 year ago to design a "master" plan for our new home. Justin took the time to visit our home (at least) twice and listen to our concerns and wants. Ultimately, we settled on a plan but Justin and his design team were very patient as we settled on what we wanted and a time frame (and budget) that would work for us.
As the install date approached, Justin took the time to walk the through their nursery to pick out our stock. Since we don't have a green thumb Justin offered advise as to what would look look good, taking colors and overall aesthetic into account.
Once install day came Justin was there to kick off the project and personally checked in on the progress several times over the 3 day install. Greg the foreman was awesome to work with and the entire crew was polite and always smiling (even through the heat and rain).
Justin even upgraded our stock at no charge since some of the plants we had chosen were struggling at the nursery. They even added several boulders and decorative gravel that was not in the original plan but helped polish the overall aesthetic. They also took care of incorporating the few existing plants we had into the new design.
We would definitely recommend Beall's design and landscape services and look forward to executing the additional phases in the future.

What an incredible experience! The entire layout is beautiful. So much to choose from, not only in plants but landscaping supplies as well. Jim, the owner, walked us through the trees we were interested in and gave us more information than we expected. Couldn't be happier!

Two weeks in a row I went there to get Easter flowers for the cemetery. Each visit they told me to try again next week. This past Sunday they told me to come today, Thursday. When I went in the woman I spoke to both visits looked me right in the face and said that she never said that they would have Easter flowers. She proceeded to tell me that whatever I would put on the grave would die overnight, anyway. Then, she walked in the back and didn't return. If you can't provide a service, don't lie about it. Honesty is the best form of customer service.

We completed a firepit this year and couldn't be happier with bealls and particularly Mr beall. He helped design, gave building tips and gave me good pricing on the material I needed throughout the whole project. In these covid times everything takes longer to get, but he was honest and correct with time frames on getting everything before we decided to start. I will continue to use bealls in the future for all my landscape needs.

Beall's Nursery is absolutely amazing. Meg is so knowledgeable and goes above and beyond helping the customer. Will be back there again!

On Friday bought $100 of perennials on the sale. Wanted my husband to come back to help me choose several more plants. This time $200 but said the sale was over yesterday and would not honor. Manager wanted to show her clout and would not call the owner. Walked away. Will spend my money w someone that cares.

The staff at bealls is amazing. Jim took all the time and spent 2.5 hours helping us design and pick out our plants and bushes and flowers. Ty ty ty to everyone involved.

Very nice cashier, friendly! I even talked with a guy about planting new grass seeds. He explained to me that I need Penn state type grass seeds for sun and shade type. Then he also explained that I need mushroom manure to cover it to give seeds the nutrients that it needs and to water it daily. Good experience from staffing. (Side note I work for landscaping company so I often stop in for 2b limestone, lampus blocks, guys around back were ready to load me up as soon as I paid in front)

We have never been so impressed with a company before in our entire lives. From the initial meeting with Jim and Vickie throughout the entire installation of our landscaping this company was top notch. Every single member or their staff was amazing. Reliable, hard working, courteous, and extremely professional. I'm actually sad they finished our project because I enjoyed seeing them and interacting with them every day. Their work is GORGEOUS! They completely transformed our home. They could not have been more respectful to our neighbors and took care of any issues of spillage into their yard. Greg was the foreman on our job and he followed through every single thing he said he would do (even when I forgot). He was ON IT! And such a nice man with amazing talent at his job. Justin was awesome to work with as well. I will recommend Bealls to every single person that is ever looking for a landscaping company! I could thank them a million times and it still would not be enough!

Just love this place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and their plants are beautiful and healthy.

Jim and his crew recently completed an extensive landscaping project at our home. During the design phase, Jim and Vickie met with us several times to discuss the project and offered many great ideas. From start to finish, the entire crew worked tirelessly to complete all aspects of the job. In addition to shrubs, trees, and seasonal flowers, the team installed two beautiful flagstone walkways. The landscape lighting completed the job and added even more to the absolutely beautiful finished project. This was all made possible because of the expertise and professionalism of the entire team. They were a great group of people to work with. Our home looks beautiful, and we highly recommend Beall’s for your landscaping needs.

Staff weren't wearing masks today.if you don't care enough about customer safety, you don't get our business. We went out of our way to support a smaller business vs Lowes. No thanks. FYI, ALL other nurseries I've been to the employees were wearing masks, and asked for customers to do the same.

I almost bought a pumpkin there, but when I got to the cashier's desk I saw she wasn't wearing a mask. And she was coughing.
