Best camp ever the memories of this camp. I was 12 around that age an went 2 years in a row. An I can remember every day I had fun all week an my brother went 2 nd year with me. But all kids an counselor's I remember all them an what a time. I'll never forget one minute of the time I spent with all friends I met. We use to have sing as a group to eat an loud like a prayer. Fabulous camp. Staff is amazing, Food delicious. Cabins clean. Beautiful lake and trails. Our group has been in many camps and this is by far the best. Wonderful place for family retreat, we made memories for a lifetime. Thank you Collin, Denise, Karisa, Joyce and entire staff.

Amazing camp and community that holds a special place in my heart. I was a long-time BCC camper and counselor who introduced my beloved camp to my children and family. My daughters love Bear Creek! It is a great place to enjoy nature and unwind. My family has attended the week-long family camp together multiple years and it is fantastic. My experiences at Bear Creek have influenced me as a person in so many positive ways and given me lifelong friendships!

My five star review is based on attending Family Camp, group rental, and now family rental. We have not yet sent our kids for camp individually, but I would not hesitate to send them in the future if able to schedule and finance it.

This is a large property with a lot to explore on its 3,000 acres, but it has a smaller feeling because of the convenient arrangement of the buildings and cabin sites.

Our family of 5 has enjoyed 3 family camp sessions. My troop enjoyed a stay where we used the facilities to earn a Girl Scout badge in cooking and meal preparation as well as hike and play games in the fields. Our latest stay was as a family renting a cabin for 4 days with use of the program center in the unit for cooking and rainy day activities.

Our daughters' favorite things are the lake, the sandbox and garden, the nature center, and playing carpet ball. My favorite activity is to hike the many trails when I'm not relaxing in my cabin reading a book. The lake is small but there lots of family fun to be had like cooling off floating, taking a kayak or SUP out for a spin, or playing in the sand.

Check the website for the many amenities offered for camp weeks as well as group rentals.

Side Note: I did not enjoy the women's retreat during which a family emergency at home made it easy for me to leave early without regret. In retrospect I mostly blame myself for not collecting a group of friends to go with me. Now I know it's quite an established tradition and is difficult for single people attending to feel welcome even if you are friendly and outgoing. Glad I had a book to read.

I’ve been a camper at Bear Creek Camp for about 8 years now, and honestly this is one of the best places on earth to go.i loved it when i was a kid and i still do at 17 years old.the councilors are some of the nicest people you’ll meet.literally from all around the world.u might read some other comments on here and by worried about a bullying problem but trust me when i say the camp is on it.if bullying does happen it’s corrected as soon as it comes to light.i personally remember an incident one year where someone was bullying a younger camper and after it was reported the councilors took action immediately and the camper doing the bullying was sent home and is no longer welcome back.i can’t say it enough how good of a place this is for your kids to grow and connect w other people.highly recommend to everyone.

I went to Bear Creek Camp as a child thirty years ago and was so excited to send my children here the past two years. They loved the experience, the connection with the great outdoors and God.

The boys loved it so much last year and had an incredible time, we're sending them for two weeks this year. They just finished week one and they can't wait to go back next month.

I'm excited for many years of experiences, personal and spiritual growth for them at Bear Creek Camp.

My son had a very horrible experience at this camp which caused him physical problems due to negligence of the counselor. They found a tick on him and did not send it out for testing or have him check by the nurse. I was never notified. They completely failed to follow their own protocol. 4 days after he came home he was very sick it took him over 4 months to recover and had to be treated by a infectious disease doctor and a rheumatoid doctor. He definitely had a tick borne disease but the doctors were unsure of what it was because the tick was never tested. He was on antibiotics for over a month. I talk to the administrator he was very sympathetic but I could not stress enough that they need to teach their counselors to do the proper testing for ticks, not take it off the child and throw it in the woods which is what Emily did. My son refuses to ever go to camp again. I'm just thankful that he got better on the antibiotics.
