PICK ANOTHER ORTHODONTIST!

Our year and a half at Becker Orthodonics has been far from satisfactory. Despite our initial expectations, we found the overall experience disappointing and frustrating.

While most of the staff was friendly and professional, I couldn't help but feel that they were primarily focused on maximizing their profits. Dr. Becker, in particular, struck me as a skilled businessman who constantly pushed the more expensive treatment options.

One instance of this was when I ended up getting Invisalign, which was strongly recommended by Dr. Becker. Although the treatment itself went smoothly and I had no issues, we couldn't shake the feeling that I was being pushed towards the higher-priced option.

Another aspect that bothered me was their lifetime plan for retainers. Dr. Becker really emphasized the need for this plan, which cost close to $900 for retainers over a period of 10 years. The problem was that every time I needed a new retainer, I had to pay a $25 co-pay which was not stated clearly during the sell. Additionally, they used outdated molds that had a high chance of breaking, making it impossible for them to save the molds for future use. Consequently, I always felt guilty and apprehensive about asking for a new retainer, fearing that I would be met with a guilt trip for not reporting the issue immediately.

One additional aspect worth mentioning is that the lifetime retainer plan created a sense of obligation that made it difficult for me to consider seeking orthodontic services elsewhere. With the hefty investment I made in the retainer plan, I felt somewhat trapped and hesitant to explore other options or seek a second opinion.

Furthermore, I found it frustrating that they were reluctant to support the local marching band with a $20 advertisement donation. It took a lot of effort to convince them to agree, and their responses in the email exchanges were passive-aggressive, which left a negative impression.

On the surface, the staff at Becker Orthodonics appeared kind and friendly, but just pick a different orthodontist.

The staff are all so friendly, we were seen quickly, and I feel like they really care about my son and his progress.

When our daughter’s adult teeth started coming in, we realized that she needed a consultation to assess the crowding and other issues. Dr. Becker was referred to us and we visited his office for a consultation. He was quickly able to assess the situation and intervene. What we like most about Dr Becker & his team is how patient focused they are. They address my daughter directly, are interested in who she is and her well being and they involve her in the care they are providing. We’ve had a fantastic experience so far and our daughter’s teeth look great! We’re very pleased with this office and look forward to the final results when she completes treatment.

Becker Orthodontics is very fast and efficient! Clinical Assistant Carissa is the best one who mostly always works with me. I can tell she is very experienced and she knows what she is doing! I definitely recommend Becker, it’s always quick and everyone is very friendly!

It was very quick, in and out and they took care of me right away even though we came in way earlier than we were suppose to. Carisa was very kind and patient with me even though I was being difficult to begin with. They can always get us in and work with us to find the best time. Friendly staff all around!

2 of my kids have gone through ortho treatment here, one more to go! I wouldn’t think to go anywhere else. Dr. Becker & his team are very friendly & always professional.

Becker orthodontics always make sure that your comfortable during procedures and you can always alert them if you feel pain and they'll stop right away. I love this place

The customer service is amazing! I had Karissa as my dentist and she does am amazing job. I have done the Invisaline treatment for around 8-9 months and have seen a visible difference. Now currently on my retainerssss

Dr B and the staff are amazing! From the first phone call to first appointment to last braces appointment, everyone was always happy. Very knowledgeable team. They are all great with the kiddos too! If they had 10 stars I would be clicking them all! I’ll be going back to get my retainers! Thank you for taking care of my kid!

I like how once I got in, I immediately was taken to the room. Only wait 1-3 minutes before I was checked in. Once I got in the room I was meant to be in, the nurses and doctors and dentists were nice and gentle with me. Thank you!
