Belfield Rec need to be revamped. It's a great place to go but the city really needs to take better care of their facilities.
I went inside and it was well kept and bathrooms were clean. Facility mgr was on sight and approachable. P
Too much shooting and violence goes on in this neighborhood around this playground. You can't trust your kids to be safe at this place.

Poor restroom facilities, smelly, broken down most-everything is the best way to describe the physical structure. NONETHELESS it still stands as a place of recreation, competition, camaraderie and positivity for the community. I applaud that.
This rec center has surely seen better days. The city or even its neighbor LaSalle University should pump some money in the facility to bring it up from its abysmal state.
Pool was clean, not too much drama when I went up there but area is known for shootings and I wouldn't stay around it late at night as the kids and parents leave it to the teenagers and young adults. Playground did have broken glass and trash around.
