Therapists leave all the time I went through 3 therapists in less than a year and a half. The psych doctor he is no good he doesn't do anything no matter what. I have a medical marijuana card and he put cannabis use disorder in my record but was fine with prescriptions of controlled substances, as soon as I disclosed medical marijuana use he stopped caring and stopped doing anything for my symptoms highly recommend against this place. UPMC mental health care is over worked underpaid and they don't care. There is no continuity of care for therapy and their psych docs live in the 18th century.

I have spent an hour on the phone during business hours trying to call every possible number and there was no answer. I had the option to leave a message and the person who called me back was absolutely no help and didn't even identify herself. She just put me back into the phone tree. If you try to talk to the operator the system hangs up on you every time you do so.

Thanks for not calling me back after I left SEVERAL voicemails. I was put in therapy for 10 years and on several medications. The therapist does nothing except write notes and transfer them to psychiatrist. They transferred me to a group therapy program with this woman who didn't even know what I looked like misdiagnosed me. Shady people who only care about getting a paycheck.

Impossible to get evaluated by new doctors. I hope someone files a lawsuit against this place for mistreating patients and being dishonest about their issues. UPMC is the definition of corporate greed. I was referred to resolve because they were not treating me at Bellefield Clinic. Resolve is a glorified homeless shelter not a place for someone with depression & anxiety. They completely ignore your issues there & here. It's all lies on top of lies. UPMC cannot be trusted.

Been at this clinic for five years. Never felt welcomed or listened to. Rude to my mother who was asking for help. You'd think that you'd want to encourage and support people with the courage to reach out for help, but the therapists, doctors, and receptionists here don't treat people like they're people. Therapists especially clock out as soon as work is over, and they don't follow up at all, even if they know you've been traumatized or are having passive death thoughts. Ver batim, I had a psychiatrist tell me that I "fell through the cracks" when three months of neglect from this clinic resulted in ANOTHER suicide attempt. I asked for help, they just never gave any. You're treated like a nuisance, and as someone who has been institutionalized many times, I can say wholeheartedly that this clinic-especially the adolescent clinic-proves that the mental health system needs fixed.

Finding careful deliberate listening from well trained doctors and therapists for my son who has been put through the ringer at clinics and psychiatrists all over the country is a breath of fresh air. Finally getting the help we need and my son is stable and seeing progress and ownership of his complex and co-morbid but beautiful mind. Thank you to the doctors here who very gently looked at our past and my son's current presentation to get the wrong meds out and a better treatment in place. Now our lives are so much more hopeful.

The Barbie-lookalike doctor kept looking at her watch during the whole 10 minutes that she granted to my daughter and gave us the feeling that our problems weren't worth her time or attention. Avoid.

If I could give this place fewer stars, I would. I went there for long-standing issues surrounding bipolar and ADHD, but instead the nurse practitioner called me a liar, treated me like just another client rather than a human being. Not to mention, she also misdiagnosed me and doubled down when I mentioned it was a misdiagnosis. Their IOP and Partial programs are great, but I'll never go to their clinic ever again. Last thing: I asked for a different therapist because I felt mine wasn't listening to me, and they transferred me 5 times and blatantly ignored my voicemail. I'm honestly in worse mental health because of all this. I switched services recently and am a bunch happier. There needs to be some form of reform here. People like that nurse practitioner shouldn't work in any health care let alone behavioral health care.
