Berkleigh Golf Club reviews
17 Great Golf Course. Will use all your clubs and think about it when hitting them!
Food at turn is a little high in price $
Not a bad course. It’s priced right and fairly. Course has a nice layout and some nice holes. Conditions aren’t great but greens are decent.
Nice course in good condition. Good mix of open holes and ones where the trees close in. Friendly staff.
As managers of the course Byler should have an obligation to assume the liability of honoring gift cards from previous owners, yet Berkleigh told me they "don't have any way to do that. " Even outside of what could be legal requirements, good business practice should carry the day and honor the gift cards.
Overall a good golf course. There are some small tight greens. Nice practice area and clubhouse
Awesome course, tough too from tips. Everything in super shape for early Spring. Greens putted true, tees and fairways, traps were superior to others in the area. I be back 4 sure!
Pricy for winter rules. Cart path in broken pieces. Greens are nice but layout of links are long. Nice course to try s couple times. There's many PGA approved clubs in SE PA
New owners showing great promise. I'd like to see the course restored to the glory it once was
Wasn't horrible besides fairways looking like the rough and being overpriced for the condition. At least it was a 3 1/2 hour round don't think I'll be back again anytime soon definitely needs work
Beautiful golf course especially in the fall as autumn set in. You may even run into a deer or two.
Played yesterday - course was in excellent shape - we were a foursome and played in less than 4 hours; greens were fast downhill and slow uphill; lot of run out on the greens and fairways; firm and fast; teeing areas and cart paths could use some upgrading and maintenance, but minor issues. Really fun and enjoyable golden age course.
Crowded, slow play, and not the most friendliest staff at the time.
But the course was decent.
Greens fees are too high in my opinion. Newer owners that don't value customers/golfers. It's sad, because the course it self is a very playable older style layout. BTW, variable pricing? Not sure what that means as it doesn't vary at all. Even when the tee sheet is totally open.
The greens were almost perfect, no dead spots and rolled true. Fairways were a little high but understandable with the weather we have had. Overall excellent shape. The new bar and grill is modern and clean, way better than the old falling down clubhouse. Staff was friendly.
Under new management. Course went downhill but they are bringing it back. Greens were beautiful as well as the areas around the greens. Will be a 4 star review by next year. Management just built a new clubhouse. Now they are turning to refresh the course. Still worth the play, but by next year it should remind people of what Berkleigh was like when it was a private CC.
The course layout isn't anything special, but it's in great shape and is pretty fun to play. The facilities are also very nice, seemingly newly remodeled.
Course was in great shape. Staff very friendly. They flip flopped the nines again. This has been a couple times now. Its a better finish now. Had tees up on some of the longer holes more playable. We played the whites in less than 4 hours. Will definitely be back.
